Untalented, the American heritage dictionary has two definitions for the phrase, Addison Cole and Athena. How many times would Heather have to beat these two obviously horrible wrestlers? How many times would she have to push through true nobodies before she got some actual competition? Heather knew what people thought, they knew that people thought she only won the championship because of Nick, but she knew differently. Nick's help was only a little aid, she had beaten Addison two other times before then, so how could it be that because of one match with an aid that Heather didn't deserve what she gained? After all Heather didn't NEED Nick to help she just wanted him to be there to help bring more embarrassment to the former champ. It was all in good fun really. Oh right it was apart of the new "I only give excuses" gimmick that Addison Cole had taken on. Then again surely Athena would catch on to it in hopes that both of them could convince themselves of something that was so obviously not true. Heather didn't feel the need to prove herself though, in fact it had never been something she cared to do. She knew how good she was, she didn't need other people's approval to boost her self-esteem. She wasn't pathetic like the rest of the women that seemed to roam around professional wrestling. Not only was she good at what she did she was innovative. Different, a breath of fresh air if you will. People knew what she was about she was the "generic bitch killer" and she would continue on her path. This was just another pit-stop, one that was familiar and easy to get through. Heather would go into this match just as confident as she always was, and with good reason. Not only was this her FIRST title defense but her first time since winning the title that she would be fighting and she was more than ready, believe me. Ready and willing to go out into the ring and do what she does best, win.

Heather's hand rested on her legs as she sat with them crossed one over the other. It was getting colder out and she hated it. She had wanted to stay in California or hell even in Florida but Nick had been persistent about living in New York. Truly though she didn't mind it besides the fact that she got cold far too often. She looked out over the city from her beautiful penthouse. She pushed herself up from the chair that she sat in and walked over to the railing leaning up against it as she continued to look out at the city. She grinned obviously thinking about something. Her thoughts were broken up as she heard the door open behind her. She looked back over her shoulder to see Nick opening up the sliding glass door and stepping out onto the balcony.

"Hey, where have you been?" Heather turned herself around walking towards him.

"I was at the gym. I was gonna wake you up to go with me but I didn't really wanna ruin your sleep." Nick reached out putting his arm around Heather and moving her in as she faked a pout. They then shared a kiss.

"Yeah that was probably a better choice, I might have thrown a punch." Heather smiled as Nick let off a laugh. She wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him tighter. "I'm anxious for this match. Not nervous obviously, but anxious. My first title defense, and it's going to be against two former champions."

"You have it in the bag babe, what are you anxious about?" Nick looked down to her with an eyebrow raised.

"It's exciting to know that I am going to win my first title defense, and even more exciting that it is going to be over these so called "legends". I don't get what people see in these women, they've got little talent and they're boring. Not to mention I'm obviously the hot one out of the bunch." Heather shrugged her shoulders and Nick nodded his head in agreement. "The problem is that this match is stale, it's something people have seen before. Then again maybe the fans will come to the match in hopes that maybe this time someone else will win. Too bad I'll have to crush those dreams. You know kind of like I crushed Addison's and Stephanie's when she wanted the title shot." Heather chuckled to herself a little bit as a grin spread onto her face.

"Well I don't have any doubts about you winning, and I'm sure no one else does either." Nick kissed the top of Heather's head.

"People only have doubts because they can't think up anymore excuses, so they try and play it off like something is wrong. If people are doubting me, they're simply stubborn and they'll change their minds soon enough." Heather shrugged as she stepped back letting her hands fall down by her sides as Nick's did the same. "I have to get going though, I booked a camera crew." Heather gave Nick another kiss before walking past him into the penthouse.

The camera fades up from black to show Heather Mackenzie standing their with a grin planted on her face, as usual. Her newly won women's championship was draped over her shoulder and she held it with one hand as she let her other fall by her side. She stood up perfectly straight, her long blonde hair tucked neatly behind her ears. The camera zoomed in a little bit as she began.

"You know when I heard this match was going to happen I couldn't help but sigh. Sigh because this match is a match that I've already conquered, two women that I've already beat, what benefit is this going to have for me when I've already won this match before. Then I thought to myself this is a perfect opportunity. For what you ask, well to keep those pathetic excuses out of Addison Cole's mouth. Cause you see I am the women's champion now..." Heather took a second pointing to the title on her shoulder. "and I'm sure that Addison has a few excuses for why that happened, and this match will be an opportunity for me to ONCE AGAIN beat Addison Cole and show her that the right woman definitely won at Fall Brawl and she needs to accept that. Then again who knows, maybe she won't be "focused"." Heather snickered to herself and shook her head. "Don't think I forgot about you though Athena because I haven't. It's hard to remember you though after all you are pretty easy to forget. I bet it just hurts you to know this title is in the hands of someone that is sooo much better than you. Someone that isn't a pathetic pushover like Addison Cole, someone that can actually hold their own in the ring. I can't imagine what your thoughts were when I won that title. Maybe you cried because you know just as well as Addison that this title is going to be mine for as long as I want it to be." Heather took a look at the title and then back to the camera.

"Ladies, this is going to be my very first title defense. My very first chance to show how much better of a champion I make over the two of you combined. Sure right now I haven't had it for that long, and maybe you're saying to yourself that I've proved nothing. However I would beg to differ. Do you consider yourselves losing to be proving nothing? Do you consider this title proving nothing? Please tell me what I have left to prove, because I promise you right now that you won't be able to come up with a thing. You guys will simply fall back on what you know how to do, make up a lot of bullshit. Trust me, that isn't something to be proud of. That isn't something that should make you think you're good enough to fight for this title. You see me just having this title for how many days has it been, a week? Has given it more prestige that the two of you could possibly muster in your title reigns combined. Cause I, unlike each of you, have what it takes to be a real champion. I have what it takes to make it in this business and I know how to do it better than a lot of people. I know how to be a good wrestler and even more so a good champion. I will not allow my reign to fall short, in fact I fully plan to beat out your record Athena. I plan on holding this belt for a very long time and you all need to get used to it, because there isn't anyone in WCW that is better than me, there isn't anyone that can compare to my talent. Think what you will, say what you will, the truth of the matter is you can't mess up perfection." Heather grinned and shrugged her shoulder. The screen then fades to black.
