Out.of.Character.Comment; goes here •?/FONT>TITLE HERE The relationship between Heather Mackenzie and Nick Slater was made obvious every week. They were a solid pair, who wanted the same things. Both of them had focused their attention on being winners and being something beyond greatness. They had, in their careers, already achieved a lot of that already in their singles careers, now they were given the chance to once again team up together and show that when two perfect people are put together there is no problems that cannot be solved. "Flipjam" as they liked to be called, were somehow the tag team champions. Mostly because they hadn't yet had any REAL competition. Hell Nick had beat Georgia James less than a month ago at Halloween Havoc, how hard could it be to do it again, especially with the help of the women's champion. The difference between the tag teams were apparent, and there were many differences. The more obvious one was the looks, Heather and Nick they had the looks they had looks that people would die for. Then there was the talent, another thing people in this business prayed for but couldn't possess. The other was simple, Nick and Heather were reliable, they would both show, they wouldn't let each other down. "Flipjam" on the other hand were never guaranteed. One might show, or maybe both, but that's just as likely as seeing Haliee's comet. Nonetheless this would be the perfect opportunity for Nick and Heather to show what a good tag team looks like and perhaps even show signs of what REAL tag champs would look like. That however was only a second thought, the first...solve the problem of "FlipJam". "NICK! My mother will be here any minute!" Heather rushed around her and Nick's Manhattan penthouse fixing every little thing. Nick finally appeared in the bedroom doorway laughing as Heather continued to shuffle around. "Heather, seriously? Why do you care about what your mother things of this lace? It's beautiful and expensive what isn't great about it?" Nick stepped forward still chuckling to himself. Heather met him in the middle of the room, fixing the tie she made him wear. "My mother thought we moved in together too fast. Something about marriage first and blah blah. So we're going to show her how well it's working out and then some." Heather pushed up to her toes giving Nick a kiss. "You never told me that." Nick seemed a little confused. Heather opened her mouth to speak but was stopped by the knocking on the door. She quickly looked over to the door then back up to Nick. "Oh come on I have to get the door?" Heather smiled an innocent smile and nodded her head leaning in for another kiss. Nick let out a sigh before walking over to the door. He could hear Heather shuffling around still trying to get everything straight. "Nicolas! Darling, how are you?" An older blonde woman stepped into the door as Nick opened it up. She flung herself into a hug with him as she giggled obnoxiously. She then let go looking to Heather. "Heather my baby!" Heather smiled as she embraced her mother. Her mother then let go holding on to Heather's hands as she stepped away giving her a look. "You look so skinny. Have you been eating?" Heather shot a look to Nick who laughed. "Of course I'm eating mother, I'm just apart of a job that allows me to work out everyday so I stay fit. It isn't like I'm unhealthy." Her mother shrugged her shoulders. "Have a seat, lets catch up." Heather led her mother over to the couch as Nick came in with three glasses of wine. Heather took a seat on the nearby chair. "So when are you two getting married?" Nick nearly spit out his wine just after taking a sip. Heather looked to him with a glare. She then looked to her mother. "We're actually focusing on our careers right now, we're happy with where we are." Heather nodded as she glanced at Nick who still looked a little shocked at the question. "Which career is that, the one where you take your clothes off or the one where you get broken bones?" Nick quickly drank up all the rest of the wine in his glass and Heather finally picked hers up taking a drink. "Honestly dear, you really need to think about this career choice." Heather rolled her eyes. "Mother we've been having this conversation since I was seventeen. I love what I do and in WCW I'm getting a lot of experience. Hell I'm a two time women's champion there now, and Nick and I have a great opportunity this week to work together." Heather smiled over at Nick. |
