Kit Black had a lot of ambition, it was something in fact that she prided herself on. There was never a point in her life that she thought for a second that a dream was too big or something was too hard to accomplish. It wasn't even possible in her book for something to be out of reach for her. She had always gotten what she wanted, she wanted to be a model, she got that, she wanted to become a professional wrestler, she got that. There was no man that she couldn't claim and there was certainly no woman that could surpass her abilities not only in the ring but out of it too. She wasn't one to go on rants about the men that she had been with, after all her name wasn't Jade Jiles, but she certainly had gained her share when she wanted to. It was a charm that she seemed to have, something that made Kit who she was. She knew how to use what she had exactly when she needed it and that only added to her level of ambition. Nothing was too great for her and there was nothing that couldn't be overcome when she really wanted to. Sure it all sounded cheesy but it was the truth. Kit had a knack for making people's hearts melt and that wasn't particularly good for others. She used it to her advantage never missing a beat when she needed something. Of coures that was men, and Kit didn't have to deal with men this week she had three women to worry about. A fatal four way between her and three women she had never seen before in her life. Sure she had heard a lot about them she had heard what they were capable of but that didn't for a second measure up to what they would really bring to the table when they were up against someone as defiant as Kit someone that was so set on doing well that she hadn't even begun to think of what could happen if things went the other way. Perhaps that was naive of her but she didn't care. She knew that when she wanted something she had to go after it and she wasn't going to be stopped on her way to the top by three little girls that couldn't seem to lift a finger just yet to film a promo. Either way though, promo or no those girls didn't have half the heart or half the guts that Kit did. She put herself out there on a daily basis and didn't really care what type of response she got. She wasn't ever really trying to please anyone but herself and sometimes that was the best way to get ahead in life. If you're your toughest critic and you manage to do well by your standards then other people must be in awe. This was the way Kit thought and the way she would continue to think until someone could manage to change her mind, and that didn't seem like it would be happening any time soon. Kit looked down to her feet as her teal pumps touched the floor below her. She could almost see her own reflection in the new marble tiles that had been laid down in the backstage area of "The Cage". Kit had moved to Washington D.C. to be close to the headquarters and she was still getting used to the new people that she had met. It was nothing like California, but she didn't mind. Her bag hung low strapped over her chest. Her purse drug on her other arm as she made her way down the seemingly endless hallway. Finally she saw something familiar, the words "Civil Hostility". She smiled seeing that she had finally made it to her dressing room. She leaned back onto the door pushing it open, she almost stumbled inside. She turned around to see Zach Halo standing there shirtless in a pair of gym shorts. A grin slid across the mouth of Kit as she looked at Zach who seemed to be in shock. She flashed a smile at him. Kit Black; Hey, Zach, what are you doing here? Zach calmed down a little bit letting the shocked expression melt from his face. He chuckled a little to himself awkwardly. Zach Halo; I was actually getting ready to get in the shower, I just got done doing a little training in the ring, what about you? Kit walked over closer to Zach setting her purse down. Kit Black; Oh well don't let me bother you, I'm just here to get a little training in myself. Normally I just do kick boxing at that place down the street but I figured that I should actually get in the ring for my debut match. Kit shrugged her shoulders. Zach seemed to come more at ease as Kit took a seat near him picking her large bag up and setting it in front of her. Zach Halo; Oh yeah, a fatal four way right? Kit Black; Ah yes, you've done your homework. Kit smiled as Zach laughed a little bit. Kit Black; Yeah, I haven't been in the ring for a little while as you know, but I don't think I need to sweat it too much there isn't much competition really. Just three broads that what the same things I do but can't measure up to what I bring. The usual. Kit shrugged again. Zach Halo; No competition at all eh? Kit Black; Not really, I suppose I can't exactly say that I mean I haven't seen any of them in the ring I am just assuming because when I bring it I bring it hard. I don't just do this because I think it's fun I do this because I like the drive that it gives me the aggression I can take out ya know? I mean it's about winning for me it's about feeling that power over another person and just ripping into them knowing that they can't do anything back to you. Kinda like kick boxing...maybe that's why I like it... Kit had seemed to drift off into another place not even paying attention to the completely in awe face that Zach had on. She turned to look at him. Zach Halo; That's pretty intense. Kit got to her feet. Kit Black; How can you be a wrestler and not be intense, it comes with the package I suppose. Well I guess that's what I've always thought, what comes with your package? The question was obviously an awkward one. Zach cleared his throat a little as Kit looked to him with a grin. He didn't answer but instead leaned over towards the bench packing his things together. Kit giggled a little to herself and sat back down on the bench. Kit Black; So what brought you here? I thought you were away. Zach looked to her. Zach Halo; I was. Kit Black; Now your back? Zach shrugged. Zach Halo; Sort of, I mean not for long. Kit nodded her head. Kit Black; Oh okay, cause I don't know I thought you could give me a few pointers in the ring. I really like your style and I kinda wanna model my moves after yours ya know? Really pick up on that type of stuff. I already have down what I need for my match on Adrenaline but I could really use help building a little more ya know? Just some extra moves to show off. Although look good, doing them that is. Better than I would. I just wanna give those little girls a surprise and show them what a woman is capable of doing cause lord knows those girls have no clue how to really wrestle. They can claim it all they want I refuse to buy that until they can prove it to me and that will be a lot harder than they think. Kit nodded her head showing Zach that she was done with her little rant. Zach Halo; Well yeah I suppose I could help you out. Although you should consider that some of your opponents are talented. Kit giggled a little bit but Zach's face stood still with seriousness. Kit Black; Like who? They have nothing on me really, and sure I don't have much on them but I am confident enough in myself to know that i can do whatever I need to in order to win. I know that you play it nice and I can't say I hate that about you, but sometimes to get what you want you have to get cocky. I know when to start and I know when to stop. Honestly though, who is going to beat me between the scene girl, the hippie, and the drunk? Obviously I have the upper-hand here. The scene girl will be too busy playing with her dinos, the hippie will be high and the drunk..well that one explains itself. Zach laughed a little at Kit's sarcasm. Zach Halo; Okay I sort of see your point, but don't underestimate people. Kit Black; I'm not, I'm simply judging how I'm going to do. If anything I'm overestimating myself and that never really happens. Kit shrugged. Zach Halo; I guess we'll just see for ourselves just how good you are when you actually get out into that ring. Kit Black; I'll show you, I'm the best there is. Kit winked towards Zach nudging him playfully. He smiled at her. He nudged her back. Zach Halo; I'll bet. Seriously though I'll get into the ring with you if you really want me to. I mean it would help us get to know each other a little bit better. Kit Black; Yeah that would be awesome. You better be rooting for me in my match too, cause you know I'll be there for you during your matches, as your offical manager. Kit smiled. Zach Halo; Oh of course, who else am i going to root for? They were both thrown off as there was a loud knocking on the door. Zach Halo; Come in! The door opened up quickly. In the doorway stood Aj Caine. A smile lit up Zach's face. Zach Halo; Aj, Hey. I thought you were coming a little later. Aj Caine; I found time earlier, you aren't showered yet. Aj sarcastically sniffed him and put on a disgusted face they both laughed. Kit got to her feet drawing Aj's attention. Aj Caine; Oh did I interupt something? Kit Black; No not at all, just talk about our match on Adrenaline, are you syked for your first loss in EPA? Aj seemed taken back by the question and Zach looked back to Kit with a confused look. Aj Caine; I should be asking you the same question. Kit Black; Yeah right, good luck with that one. Kit shook her head laughing. Zach Halo; Hey save it for the ring will ya? You guys will have your chance to go at each other, but outside of it you need to get along. Aj and Kit looked to each other confused. Aj Caine; You're right, Kit we'll save it. Aj extended her hand stepping a little closer to Kit. Kit took in a deep breath and let it out stepped closer and shaking Aj's hand. Kit then got a grin on her face. Kit Black; Yeah you're right, I'm sorry. Good luck. Aj nodded and smiled before stepped back towards Zach. She looked to him with a smile. Aj Caine; We should get going. Zach nodded. Zach Halo; Yeah.. Aj Caine; Good talk Kit. Kit nodded her head waving as Aj opened the door and stepped back out into the hallway. Zach slipped on a clean shirt and grabbed his bag. Kit Black; Hey Zach, whose corner are you in now? Kit giggled a little bit towards the awkward Zach Halo as he exited the room. Kit giggled a little more to herself shaking her head. Kit Black; Silly people, thinking they can be better than me, thinking they can beat me..when will they learn, I always get what I want. Kit shook her head as the scene fades. |
