•?/FONT> NOTHING BUT GREATNESS Kit Black only had one thing in mind for her match on Monday Night Hangover, impress..impress...impress. It was the best idea she had ever had. After only one week in he developmental federation of BUD she was making her way to monday nights, not just to face anyone, but to face someone that many loved...or loved to hate. Midnight was somehow a respected wrestler in BUD and Kit couldn't honestly see why. All she saw was a little girl playing dress up trying to convince people that she wasn't human. That didn't matter though, a gimmick was a gimmick no matter how unoriginal it was. Kit wasn't going to look down on this woman that considered herself a vampire, because an opponent wasn't there to look better than you they were there to make you look better. Well that was how Kit saw it at least. There was nothing else she could think about actually. She hadn't even truly proved herself just yet in her eyes. What type of competition did she even have last week? Not a whole lot but then again a win looked good no matter what so she wasn't going to complain about that. Kit was just focused on making the name for herself that she had always dreamed about and she was on her way to doing just that. Beating Midnight would just be the beginning. After all Midnight's mind was so obviously somewhere else and in no means was she focused on her match with Kit. There wasn't even a word..a thought muttered about it by Midnight. That was okay though, Kit didn't expect to make a huge impact on everyone, not yet at least. Her time would come sooner or later though and when it did she would smile and she would know that people were praising her, expecting nothing but greatness. Kit could feel her hands shaking as she looked across the city. They called it "The Domain". It wasn't all that fancy but it wasn't a dump either, that was only due to the fact that Kit had been around. She was on her way to cleaning up the trash all over the city and she wasn't going to stop until every last scumbag was in their place. Kit wasn't a hero though, she never fashioned herself out to be anything like that. It was always about the feeling of being feared, or the feeling that you're doing something good, not just for yourself but for a whole city. There certainly were many criminals, there were people that believed more in evil than they did in good but Kit didn't really care about other people's dispositions. She had one of her own and it was a brilliant one. A smile slithered onto her face as she saw something she liked. It wasn't exactly good for the city but it was certainly good for her. Without a sound she stood up from her perched position on the tall building. She looked out at the night sky she could see her calling sign off in the distance. The smell of victory was in the air for her. She then took a huge leap off the building as she began to soar through the sky. Why she had her powers could never be known, but she swooped down onto the street below looking straight towards a cloaked person, behind them sat a man, or part of him at least. It looked as though half of his body had been taken off and fed to wild dogs. Kit grinned, only her mouth showing, her eyes were nearly hidden by her mask. The cloaked person turned back to Kit. Kit Black; Show yourself! The cloaked person laughed an awkful laugh lowered the cloak. It was reveiled to be Midnight, Kit's nemisis. Kit narrowed her eyes, she could've guess that much after all. Blood dripped down from Midnight's lips and she licked it up a wide grin spread over her face and Kit couldn't help but to cringe. It was something she had seen before, only from Midnight, but she still hadn't gotten used to it. Kit Black; I should've known it would be you. Midnight laughed once again sending her evil laugh into the large alley way. It echoed back in a loud boom. Kit kept her stance her eyes still squinted as she locked eyes with Midnight. Midnight; So now, I've shown you my face...lets see yours. Midnight stepped forward towards Kit but Kit took a step back. Midnight; Not afraid are you? Midnight's tone was a taunting one but Kit didn't really care. She was the only one that needed to know who was under the mask. Kit Black; Never, you should know that though shouldn't you. You should know that I'm always the one to step in first when there is crime a foot. Why do you think I'm here now Midnight? It certainly isn't to play dracula like you. So I can give you two options for now, the easy way or the hard way. The easy way is you walking over here and letting me take you to the police station, or the hard way..well I think you get the point. Midnight nodded looking a little defeated. She started towards Kit. She then stopped suddenly and spit out blood into the eyes of Kit. Kit stumbled back a little bit as Midnight jumped into the air landing on one of the buildings that created the alley way. Kit wiped her eyes with her hands and looked up to Midnight laughing. Midnight then started to run. Kit shook her head. Kit Black; Why do they always pick the hard way!? Kit shrugged her shoulders and jumped up to land on the same building. She began to follow Midnight to defeat her. |
