•?/FONT>A GREATER CHANCE
Kit Black had won her match against the current Bytch champion on GWE and was now going to appear once again on Monday Night Hangover. This time it was against a different champion, the franchise champion, Gypsy. Needless to say Kit was more than excited. Sure it was a little scary Gypsy had done a lot in BUD so far and Kit had only been apart of simple matches, and while she had won most of them that didn't always matter. On top of that Zach had decided to go on hiatus from the wrestling business and didn't know if he planned to return. Kit was left alone...or so she thought. Lucky for her she had more connections than she thought, and that would come at the best time. A time when she needed information. Although Kit had seen Gypsy wrestle before, and had seen that Gypsy held titles, she didn't know enough of Gypsy to go into a match with enough confidence. Of course there would be the obvious confidence, the type that most people have in themselves. In front of Kit lied an opportunity one that was even greater than last weeks, if for two weeks in a row Kit could beat mainstream champions losing to Jeffrina Jobber wouldn't mean a thing to anyone and it would definitely have to put her in the title running which is what she wanted more than anything else. She was on her way to Monday nights permanently. Now was her next opportunity, she was riding on each opportunity and hoping that it would take her to the next level. It would eventually, as long as she kept working hard. This next level crossed would be due to the help of a friend she barely knew, but he would come as a big help.
Kit rubbed her hands together. She could feel the sweat on them. This was the first time in awhile that she hadn't hung out with Zach and it was odd, but she was getting used to it. She stared at the door in front of her looking nervous and anxious at the same time. She took a breath and nodded her head. She stepped forward towards the door and knocked on it. It only took a few seconds before the door opened up. Tani stood their with a grin planted on her face.
Tani Lyons; Took you long enough.
Tani always seemed to have a sarcasm attached to her words. Kit had known her basically her whole life and that had never changed.
Kit Black; You know what would've really helped!? Good directions to this place.
Kit narrowed her eyes in a sarcastic fashion and Tani rolled hers.
Tani Lyons; Whatever bitch you're lucky I'm doing this for you. It isn't everyday that I do nice things you know.
Tani nodded her in a matter of fact type way. It was true though, Tani wasn't a nice person. It was a wonder that Kit and her had stayed friends so long. Kit was mostly the opposite. Sure she could be catty at times, what girl isn't? Tani let the door open more and motioned for Kit to step inside. Kit did so and walked past Tani into the apartment. Kit looked around at the nicely furnished apartment and nodded her head in approval.
Kit Black; This is a nice place. Why have I never been here before?
Tani shrugged her shoulders as she walked past Kit towards the kitchen.
Tani Lyons; Who knows, probably cause you've been too busy hanging out at Zach's place.
Tani laughed to herself but Kit seemed to get more annoyed.
Tani Lyons; Do you want something to drink?
Kit Black; Yeah just a water would be fine.
There was silence for a second and then the clanging of glasses could be heard in the kitchen. Kit looked around the room. There were many different pictures around it. Many of Scott and Tani and a few others. Kit took a seat at the couch just in time for Tani to walk through from the kitchen. She was holding two wine glasses filled halfway with white wine. Kit laughed.
Kit Black; I suppose that's close enough to water.
Tani set down the glasses on the table and took a seat next to Kit.
Tani Lyons; Hey, it's close enough to 5 o'clock in my mind!
Tani took the glass and lifted it up cheersing to herself and taking a drink. Kit followed her lead and set the glass down.
Kit Black; Really though i hate to drink before an important match.
Tani Lyons; It isn't like you're going to get trashed, it's just a glass of wine. Besides it's healthy for you.
Tani grinned taking another drink.
Kit Black; I'm remembering why we got into so much trouble when we were younger right now. You always have to be persuasive.
Kit shook her head giggling to herself as she took another drink.
Kit Black; But really, I'm not here to catch up on that. I really need some information. I know nothing about Gypsy and I need some dirt in order to really hit this match on the head and win it. You're still going to help me out right?
Tani nodded her head.
Tani Lyons; Of course, Scott will be here soon. I know this is a great opportunity. This could boost you up a lot, and trust me if you get a chance at gold again you'll be able to do it with this and Breanna Black under your belt.
Kit Black; I know I realize how big this is and maybe that's why I'm semi-freaking out about it. I mean sure I have confidence in my abilities and I know that I can do well if I try to but I've seen like what, one match of Gypsy's? I don't feel like that is going to do me any good.
Tani shrugged her shoulders sipping down some of the wine.
Tani Lyons; Honestly the girl is overrated, all she has going for her is Zarek Lyle. You have a lot more talent than she does.
Kit Black; Maybe that's true but the hard part is getting other people to see that. I can go into that match and win and half the people out there will think it's a fluke. That's how the wrestling world works nowadays. Everyone is trying to come up with excuses. I just have to wonder if a win against Gypsy would mean anything to other people. It seems to me like it wouldn't, I mean as I see it there is a huge opportunity but then again I thought beating DSL TWO TIMES would mean something but apparently it only means her getting a world heavyweight championship contender spot and me getting GWE still. I suppose I'm just a little confused at the system that they have here, so I have to wonder if it will mean anything.
Tani Lyons; You have a point, but they have a plan. You have to make them know that you are good enough to be part of that plan. You need to go out there and win as much as you can and show them that you are better than the people they're holding up high right now. Plus you have to realize that they have odd selections sometimes...I mean hell Jeffrina Drakemen? Jenny Bowen? The top contenders for the Bytch championship. You know you're better than those two right?
Kit nodded her head with a giggle.
Kit Black; I know that stuff. I know that I'm better than those girls and I know that I have a lot of talent. I just don't know if they know that. Me just sitting here and talking about how good I am isn't going to make them believe it any more than they do now. I have to go out into that ring and wow them, but it's a lot harder when I know nothing about my opponent. Which is why I really need to talk with Scott about this. He seems to know some stuff about her, and not like her all that much.
Tani Lyons; Yeah you'll have that with Scott. He's not the most loving person.
Tani shrugged.
Kit Black; Yeah well I don't know how I even feel about Gypsy. She seems to me to be all over the place. I mean she knows what she wants but she wants many different things. I don't know, I guess I'm just assuming really. Maybe I should watch old promos...or something...
Tani giggled.
Tani Lyons; Yeah that would be fun. I'm sure Gypsy puts out the best promos there are. Trust me I've seen a few of them and I can't say I was entertained. It's like she's trying too hard half the time, don't ever be like that okay?
Kit Black; I'm not, that's why I came here. I'm not going to go and make a bullshit promo and make shit up about my opponent that isn't true. My assumptions and judgements aren't good for a promo it's just good for talking to you about it. Hell my name isn't Jeffrina Drakemen.
Kit shook her head in disgust.
Tani Lyons; I know you're better than that.
Kit Black; I have to wonder what she'll say about me. Lord knows she doesn't know enough about me to cut a decent promo. Is Scott gonna be here soon?
Tani rolled her eyes.
Tani Lyons; I don't know, I don't keep tabs on him. He said he would be here.
Kit took a drink of the wine.
Tani Lyons; I'm sick about talking about you, lets talk about me.
Tani grinned and Kit giggled a little bit. The pair continued talking....
