•?/FONT> Bleh, I think my opponent is quitting? I'm confused...

•?/FONT>THE OBVIOUS DIFFERENCES
"Wait...hold on a second, seriously?" Kit sat there staring at the computer screen. She then began to laugh not really being able to help herself.

"What is so funny?" Zach Halo peered his head over the couch he was sitting comfortably at looking over to Kit. She turned around pointing at the computer screen trying to stop herself from laughing.

"Did you not just hear Josh Drakmen's so called promo?" Kit shook her head in disbelief. She then got up off the computer chair making her way over to the couch as Zach turned back to the TV.

"Do I even need to hear it? Josh Drakmen pretty much says why you were even laughing in the first place." Zach chuckled to himself and Kit joined in. She sat down next to him laying down and stretching her legs out to lay over his.

"Yeah you have a point there. Honestly does he think people take him seriously? Or does he expect people to at least? Cause how can anyone take someone that uses a cuss word for every other word and a generic threat for every sentence seriously, let alone even come close to respecting him. It's pathetic." Kit lets out a laugh shaking her head. "Oh and tell me the last time liking Batman made someone talented." Kit chuckled a little to herself.

"What? You didn't hear that's a requirement now to be a wrestler. Those Juggalos...they're talented alright." Zach tried to sound convincing but simply ended up laughing. Kit smiled.

"In all seriousness though he is my opponent tomorrow night, and just because he doesn't know how to cut a decent promo, can't seem to come up with new insults, and isn't that great in the ring doesn't mean that I shouldn't be thinking about him as my opponent." Kit nodded as she looked at Zach who nodded keep a sarcastic grin on his face. "I don't get it though for real. I go one week from winning a match against the number on contender for the heavyweight championship to getting into the ring with Josh Drakmen? I can't even begin to understand what relevance this has to anything."

"Maybe they're giving you the week off." Zach laughed and Kit shrugged her shoulders letting off a giggle. "Do you even REALLY need to be thinking about this Kit? I mean we could be enjoying UFC Wired." Zach motioned towards the TV. Kit gave him a blank stare.

"First off, that's all you ever want to watch. Second off I am thinking about this because a match is a match no matter how inadequate the opponent is. I mean in the past couple of weeks I've been up against people that Josh Drakmen will never be good enough to face, so why does he get to go up against me?" Kit narrowed her eyes looking off seeming to space out for a second. She then looked back to Zach. "You know what, maybe I'm just being too cocky." Zach and Kit looked at each other and there was a moment of silence. Suddenly both because to laugh.

Kit Black had done just as she thought, and beaten DSL for a third time. She would be lying if she told you it didn't make her more confident, because it did. It made her not only confident in her abilities in the ring but it gave her self-essteam a little boost as well. Half the people in the company didn't think she was worthy of the Franchise contendership, so beating the number one contender for the heavyweight championship would hopefully put some of their doubts to rest. This week though was a much different story. Kit for the first time didn't feel like the underdog. It was a somewhat odd feeling but she didn't mind it at all. Another win would only boost her confidence even more, and with Devil's Night getting closer she needed all the confidence she could get to go up against Gyspy. Being ready for that match was everything to Kit, but she certainly wouldn't let her focus slip from the here and now simply to what was ahead. Josh Drakmen was pretty much an unknown area to Kit, but she would do what she could to work with what she had. She didn't like going into things unprepared, but finding things on Josh Drakmen was somewhat difficult. Sure he was GWE Evolution Champion, but what did that really mean? Kit would find out what she was in for after she got the chance to watch a promo...

I just need to check out his wrestling...abilities I think...and see what he has in the ring. I mean I know I haven't ever really heard good things, but I'm being optimistic here and I'm hoping it isn't as bad as others say." Kit shrugs her shoulders.

"Yeah good luck with that one." Zach shrugged his shoulders as well smiling at Kit sarcastically. She pushed him playfully. "Hey, my brother beat him. If Nick can beat someone anyone can." Zach shrugged once again.

"Well if you say so, honestly I could careless about who he is, but it's not about who my opponent is it's about what I can do right?" Kit looked to Zach who nodded his head agreeing. "I'm just going to go into the match thinking about how close I am to Devil's Night and hopefully becoming the Franchise Champion. Well see where that takes me." Kit nodded her head assuring herself. "For now though, we should go get chinese because I'm starving." Kit smiled at Zach who laughed.

"Alright, whatever you want. I don't ever have a choice." Zach shook his head with sarcastic pity for himself.

"That's right! Now lets go." Kit patted Zach's knee before getting up off the couch. She grabbed her purse and her and Zach made their way out.
