Lylah McQueen had a new confidence about her since winning her tag team titles. It was the confidence boost that Lylah needed to keep up with Tani Lyons. Tani wasn't scared though like most times, she knew that she could handle what was going to be thrown at her and she was certainly ready for the lame tricks that Lylah was going to attempt to pull. Tani had her eye on the prize and the prize would hopefully be another shot at the tag team titles, something that Heather and Tani deserved sure last week didn't work out for them but the next week would be different for sure. Tani was more than ready to face what was to come no doubt. Lylah had said some words that were semi-intelligent and that's just fine she can act intelligent if she wanted to, Tani wasn't going to take away from that. Tani sounded intelligent for the most part of her promos so letting her opponent attempt intelligence was going to be allowed at this point. It was mainly to get the chance to make more fun of her. There was no denying that Tani was the "mean girl" in school she was a giddy little schoolgirl and she didn't care. She was mature enough when she needed to be but she was also bitchy enough when she needed to be and she felt like this was the perfect time to be a little bitch to the cunt that had unkind words towards her. Tani was impressed with Lylah's ability to completely jump into something that she wasn't ready for. Cause no matter how hard Lylah wanted to fight, she was never going to be able to keep up with Tani, Tani had the mind to take things to the next level and Lylah was just another boring reject that didn't really know what to do with herself, and certainly she wouldn't be able to fight like Tani could. Tani had a lot of fight in her and if people didn't know that by now then perhaps they weren't watching hard enough. Tani was sick of the people that thought she wasn't good enough, she had proved time and time again that she knew what she was doing but people continued to deny it. She changed minds one match at a time though and soon enough she would have the mind of Lylah knowing she was better. So she sat, in a director's type chair with her fingers intertwined and sitting on her lap. She had a serene looking grin on her face as she looked into the camera with her alluring brown eyes. She leaned forward in the chair a little looking closer into the camera. "Here you are, trying so hard to prove yourself, to make yourself seem somewhat legit, well that's just dandy isn't it? I love it, I love that I can push people so far that they begin to realize their own flaws and then they open up. They start talking like their lives depend on it, but more so they just start talking non-sense. Something you must practice. Tell me Lylah do you practice talking non-sense because you've fooled me if you don't. I ask questions my dear because I want to make you think, or re-think rather your opinion of yourself. I'm not exactly sure why you can't see how crappy you are. Why you're so badly in need of attention to throw a party and invite people you barely know so you can make yourself look better. I don't think you're cooler for being able to drink honey cause anyone can do that. Then again to me you just looked like more of a piece of trash than you had managed to look like in the first place. Lylah you really don't want to play with me, trust me, because I will beat you down faster than you can even imagine. You may want to keep telling yourself that I'm nothing but look in a damn mirror, you are nothing. I don't feel the need to elaborate on that though because I figure you already know my reasoning. Please though why don't you keep talking about the tag team match, really that's all you have going for you, the fact that you became a champion due to pure luck. You see you might have had a bum partner when you got here but according to you managed to give Dannica and Kimberly a run for their money, but I went one on one with Dannica for the Bytch championship and I gave her a run for her money and I'm not just making that up like you are dear, I was two seconds away from winning that title, and it's true I didn't win I'm not going to deny that because as you know Dannica is good. This match isn't going to be about me coming close though, it's going to be able me winning and trust me dear there will be a lot of winning coming from me, just like their has always been. You can't handle being as good as I am Lylah I think you'd be too intimidated to have to handle what I handle, all these stupid cunts thinking they can actually win my title, or hell just get a shot. In case you were wondering though Lylah there is a difference between being a tag team champion and being the Bytch champion. You see as a tag team champion, you needed someone there to help you, sure you got the pin but would you have been able to win it all your own? There's something to think about, cause you see I won the Bytch championship they put my face on things they know that I'm important but do people really care who the tag team champions are? Do they shout your name everywhere and say that you are the top female in your division? I've beaten the good, and I've beaten the bad, but you will never see me lose to people that aren't good enough to hold my title, so you will not be beating me. No matter what the records say about our match it will forever say that Lylah McQueen pinned Lexi Lavey it will never say Lylah McQueen pinned Tani Lyons. You will never get the pleasure of knowing what it feels like to beat someone that means something to this company, because you are not good enough. You can beat as many jobbers that you want to beat or talk about me all you want but you won't beat me. I'd actually like to take a moment of silence right now though to honor your loss, the loss of your sense because you seemed to have let it stray from you and I don't know...I think it might be dead. So you're left with absolutely no common sense...sad." Tani took a second of silence bowing her head for a second. "You know, I don't know you Lylah, and I don't care to know you. I would never be the friend of a pathetic wanna-be such as yourself so you can keep that stuff in your dreams. You're playing the nice girl and try as hard as you can to change that fact, you won't be able to because you're just that the nice girl the girl that was just another win for Tani Lyons, don't try and change it dear because you can't. You may have passion and quite frankly I don't remember saying that you didn't, I simply said that I had more despite what you wanted to say at an earlier date. I say that because you play it off like you need to love the fans to have passion, but you know what it's not just about that. It is about getting excited for being able to go out and compete but don't question my passion. If you actually knew me you would know that it was all soft and cuddly to get to where I am, do you think I would actually be the Bytch champion if I didn't put in blood sweat and tears. I'm just like you, except a much, much better version. I just do what do and I make it look good because I can. We must have different views on passion though and it's getting very old to hear you talking about the same thing because it's just making me do the same thing. I'll leave it at this for the whole passion issue though, I have it whether you like it or not, I worked my way up the ladder because I love what I do, if I didn't have passion I would've given up after my first loss, quit being naive and learn how to accept when people are better than you. You just don't get it do you Lylah, you don't understand what it takes to be me, no this isn't me being arrogant this is serious. All those things I put into that last segment for ingredients are things I bring to the table, it's what I was taught made a good wrestler and I agreed completely. You don't get it, what I put in every week to compete every single week I work my ass off and you think you can half ass it for a few weeks and then win against me? Hell no! I won't allow it. Really I don't want anything or anyone getting in my way, you're just a pest and not because you're good, but because you continue to act like you are. It takes heart to keep going after losing as much as you do, so I won't take points away from you for that but one has to know when to give up right? Lylah, your time to give up is now, is in the match against me. Don't give me any whiny reason why I am not right either because you know damn well that I am. I know you think you have pride on the line but trust me, that's a load of bullshit coming from you." Tani shook her head. "Although I think what's best about you Lylah is your perfect way of channeling a seventh grader. It's cute, when you say your little phrases and just hoping to make it sting. Like your comment about me repeating myself, hilarious really. You're just funny to listen to. I tell you you're nothing all the time because you don't seem to get it, you aren't taking it in so I must repeat myself on that one, obviously if you're still trying to act like you're good you don't understand that you're basically the only one that really thinks that. You know where your downfall is though Lylah besides your wrestling skills, is the fact that even though you say that you aren't making things up you admitted to not actually do any research before saying some of the things you said. Good work on proving my point, because that's what I love to hear people telling me I'm right in different forms. I would love to sit here and talk about you to your face more but I really do need to go, I'll leave you some more air time to make yourself look like a trashy whore cause I think you like doing stuff like that don't you? Yeah more questions Lylah, criticize me some more on things that don't matter please, while I leave you to think a little more about you." Tani simply got up from the seat that she had sat down in. The scene faded to black. Tani stepped off of the set and walked towards her car her phone then began to ring, she didn't waste time reaching into her purse and pulling out her phone she held it up to her ear. "Hey Heather." "Hey bitch, what are you doing?" Tani shook her head with a laugh. "Nothing, I just got done cutting my promo, why?" "Coffee, you, me, now?" Tani fidgeted in her purse grabbing out her keys and unlocking her car. "Heather, I'm tired as hell right now, I'm gonna go take a nap, I've been running all day not to mention that before the show tomorrow I have an interview with a wrestling website." Tani rolled her eyes just thinking about it. "Well get sleep and then call me, we could go out tonight maybe? I wanna party." Tani started her car and giggled a little bit. "Heather, we have matches tomorrow, it's a Sunday." Tani laughed a little getting Heather to join in. "Okay you're right but at least we can do something, don't bore me woman." "I'll call you later, I've got to get home." "Okay, bye." "Bye." Tani hung up the phone setting it back in her purse as she pressed on the gas pulling out of her parking spot. The sunlight burned bright against the skin of Tani, her hat was tipped over her eyebrow to keep the sun from burning her face. The cigarette that sat in her mouth burned brightly as well as she puffed it for a second. She took it out of her mouth blowing rings of smoke up into the air. She looked over to Heather as she rocked back and forth in her rocking chair a large dog sitting next to her. The town had been rather quiet that day, almost too quiet but it wasn't much different from other days in the small town. Tani took another puff of the cigarette and let the smoke out again. There was a figure that was showing up far away, a figure accompanied by a horse. "Now who do ya figure that is?" Tani suddenly had a southern accent, she was a little taken back by it but went with the flow. "No clue." "I'm sick of these people just showin' up outta no where expectin' to get some hospitality." Heather shook her head with pity. "I know it's a damn shame they think they're gonna get some." "Well if they ain't too stupid maybe they'll get some, but we all know that's very hard to come by nowadays. Smart ladies like us." "I know." Tani brought her legs down from the railing of the old sheriffs station and narrowed her eyes to try and get a better look. As the figure got closer it was becoming more and more obvious who it was, Lylah McQueen. Tani got a grin on her face as she got to her feet. "What the hell are you doin' here?" Tani wrapped her hand around the pole that was holding up the station. Heather leaned forward getting a better look at the scruffed up Lylah. "I came here to save this town." Tani looked around for a second noticing that people were stepping outside now. She laughed. "Save this town? What in the blue hell is wrong with this town?" "You're the sheriff that's what's wrong." Lylah too had developed a southern accent, Tani shook her head as she stepped down the three small stairs that lead to the road. Lylah tyed up her horse getting a little closer to Tani. "The only thing makin' this town wrong is the fact that you think you belong in it. This place don't need no savin, specially if it's gonna be by you. Lord knows you couldn't do no savin." Tani laughed an arrogant laugh shaking her head once again. "Oh yeah, well then lets just settle this the way we should." "Well I think this town ain't big enough for the two of us, so it'll be a duel. Heather would you be so kind." Tani motioned for Heather to start the duel. Heather got to her feet quickly and leaned up against the railing. "Well I'd just be tickled to." Heather looked towards Lylah with her eye narrowed. "Now that just ain't fair." "What ain't fair is that you come in here and try to invade my town then bitch about it. Now come on lady lets get this thing over with." Lylah nodded her head. Heather motioned for the two women to go their separate ways and they did walking five paces out from each other. They both turned around to look at each other both itching to grab their gun and finish the other off. Heather looked back and forth between the two women. She could see that people were coming out from the buildings trying to see what would happen and if they would have a new sheriff. People liked Tani was the sheriff but Lylah seemed to think differently, and not only that but thought she would be able to win against her. Tani smiled at Lylah in a sarcastic manner and Lylah shook her head. Tani's fingers tingled wanting to grab her gun she looked to it quickly then back up to Lylah. Heather took in a deep breath and then let a shout out for everyone to hear. "DRAW!!" There was a loud shot heard miles away Heather looked back and forth between the women again to see who was shot. All of the sudden Lylah fell to her knees holding her side. Tani smirked as she walked over towards where Lylah was now kneeling. She looked down at Lylah shaking her head. "Darlin' you shoulda known the hero doesn't always win, the good girl always finishes last if I recall." Tani itched the back of her head with her gun looking around at the people that stood outside. "No one will be overthrowing this sheriff." She snickered to herself before pointing the gun and firing another shot into the ranger who was intent upon taking Tani out of her post. She brought the barrell towards her mouth blowing the smoke away with a smirk. The loud gunshot caused Tani to jump up from her bed, she looked around for a second and then turned towards the TV, AMC was running old western movies. Tani laughed a little to herself as sweat dripped from her forehead. She shook her head turning the TV off as she laid back down. |
