Out of character comment: this is probably the worst week for this match, I apologize for my crappiness. Also for waiting till now to get something up I had a PPV somewhere else so that needed a lot of time.

There were a lot of things that Tani Lyons didn't like and losing was very much at the top of the list. Some how though she kept getting into this messes. Lylah McQueen had to be sleeping with the ref, because her talent truly can't win her a match. Tani wasn't going to dwell on that though because she would get her shot at Lylah again and certainly the same results wouldn't come of the match. Tani was actually feeling sick just thinking about it. This week however she had more in front of her. She had the chance to show that she wasn't just a fluke. Many people still weren't giving Tani the respect and recognition that she deserved. She had done a lot in her rookie career that many couldn't accomplish but was she seen as a good competitor? Well to some extent maybe but these "veterans" were stepping in her spotlight and Tani didn't like that. Tani was that type of girl though, if you didn't know that already. She was very much high and mighty on herself and it seemed to her that a lot of women her like that now. Tani wasn't exactly the most original or the most terrifying but there was no doubt in her mind that she was capable of being an amazing athlete. She had shown that many times over again but did she ever get that recognition? No! It was funny, because so many people were commended for reaching their goals and working hard to get those goals accomplished but here Tani sat, with her bytch title, on top of the bytch division. Sure there were girls that measured up outside of the division but they were far too focused on getting into the ring with men rather than women. Tani wasn't so hellbent on playing the tough girl thing though. All Tani wanted to prove is that she accomplished what she started to wrestle for. She had proven to herself that she was passionate about this sport and whether or not anyone else believed it didn't matter to her. Tani had never given up, she never thought something was too hard, she always took it full force and did it well. This was a time that called for good things and that was exactly what Tani was going to give. She would reach one more goal of hers and she would prove that she was one of the best, whatever that took her.

Tani had made her way to the arena not wasting anytime to get ready she wanted to do her best tomorrow in her first true main event. Even though she had fun at Totally Toasted Tuesday. Tani walked through the back of the arena looking around for the gym. Much to her surprise Scott Addams seemed to be making an apperence at the gym as well. Tani and Scott were a lot alike but there was something about him that bothered Tani. She tried to walk past him but he seemed to notice her rather quickly stepping in front of her with his cocky grin spread across his face. Tani rolled her eyes.

"Where are you running to? Cause I'm right here."

Tani laughed sarcastically.

"Funny, Scott I need to get to the gym."

"Why? You're looking fine to me."

Scott's grin spread further as he looked Tani up and down. Tani stepped back.

"I have a match against Jade actually. So I wanna get into the gym to get a little more ready for it, since obviously I can't seem to put up with jobbers like Lylah McQueen."

Tani laughed to herself still in shock from her loss.

"Bitter much?"

"A little bit, now really I have to get through."

Tani attempted to walk through again with little gratification. Scott had covered the whole hallway.

"You want some tips?"

"Thought she was your stable mate."

"She's also the BUDvision champion, and I would sure like to see that title around my waste."

Tani rose an eyebrow getting more comfortable with the situation.

"Alright what have you got?"

Tani crossed her arms waiting for what Scott had to say about Jade.

"If you're looking for tips on how she is sexually, afraid I can't help you there. As far as she is in the ring? Nothing spectacular. She's only the champion because she beat Leaky twice. She's never actually faced anybody that formidable, until I came along and took the contendership spot. But I guess there is you, too. Let's just put it this way... her mind is so focused on thinking who the next random guy she's going to fuck, she won't be focused enough to even be able to lay a hand on you. I mean let's think about it here, it's Jade we're talking about. The big difference between you two: you have talent."

Tani giggled a little with delight.

"I like the way you think. Cause I couldn't help but notice that she's just another one of those girls. Completely obsessed with the impression they're making on all the males in the company that they can never seem to pay much attention to their female competitors. Like I'm not going to be the sort of antagonism that the males she competes against are. You know what I say to that though? Whatever, because that's all it means to me. Just about nothing. In fact as much as winning this match might mean to my career to others I really don't feel like I have much to worry about. I mean Jade might be one up on me because she won the BUDvision, and I didn't but I hold the highest title for the women's division and I'd say that's just as good if not better. It's definitely not anything less than her. That's where people are getting mixed up, and maybe even where she is getting mixed up."

Scott chuckled a little bit.

"Well she isn't the brightest."

"I've noticed that as well, because well she seems to claim that she doesn't know who I am and it just slips my mind why she wouldn't. I suppose it's all apart of that attitude she's so longing to have. She talks a bunch about me not accomplishing anything, but from the sounds of it she's done less than I have. I don't have to fight amazing wrestlers every week to show that I'm a good wrestler after all, I just need to get out there and show that I'm good with my talent. That's something that I don't think she does. Either way, I really don't care how good this girl is because I've got a whole lot more on this than she does. I've got my reputation and I sure as hell cannot have it get tainted again this week. Last week was enough for me. I'm rather sick of seeing these hussies prevail over someone that has the talent that I have. I mean I know that Jade has talent but more than me? Well we'll see about that won't we."

"I suppose we will."

There was a brief moment of awkward silence.

"I think I can do it though, ya know she can talk all she wants about it, or she can talk as little as she wants about it either way I'm going to go into the match with confidence and with the intention to win. Cause you know what I want this. I think you're a smart guy, smarter than everyone else around here at least cause you know talent when you see it. It's a sad thing to watch people like White Trash get praised when they can't handle the real competition. Jade says all these things that she thinks she knows about me but really she has no clue at all. I know that I have a big ego, but I suppose my confidence gets mistaken for arrogance sometimes. Then again I could really careless what all the stupid cunts have to say about me because they all think they're better. They all think they are on top of the competition because they've been around longer, or because she gets into that ring with men every week. Who gives a shit though really? I mean I sure as hell don't. It doesn't matter to me how much better she thinks she is though, cause I've never gotten to face her in the ring, and she's never gotten to face me. This is going to be the perfect surprise for Jade and the perfect wake-up call."

Scott nodded his head looking a little impressed with Tani's confidence.

"I know you're a confident girl Tani, and you can translate that into the ring just fine."

"I know I can. I always do whether I win or lose. This week I will win because I'm sick of being shafted and I'm sick of having that masked asshole ruin my matches for me. I will not let it slip by me again because of him..or her...or it."

Tani looked to be getting worked up.

"Sorry, it's just something I'm trying to work on."

"Oh I get it, don't worry."

Tani nodded as another awkward silence arised.

"Well anyways..I really have to get going. Thanks for the tips though. I assure you that I will be winning this match."

"You do just that."

Scott finally moved to allow Tani to slip through.

"Call me!"

Scott's sarcastic words were barely heard by Tani as she was almost all the way down the hallway.

Out of character comment: okay, I'm surprised I pulled something else out...I'm burnt out on this r/ping business.

Tani had done a lot of talking in her short career, she had even proclaimed herself the queen of talk. This date though would be a day that she would have to show what all that talking was about, a day that would take a lot out of her, but Tani was ready and willing. She was just looking for an opportunity to show the rest of BUD what she could do and this was her true chance, whether or not Jade was better than her didn't make a difference because Tani was going to go into this with only one thing in mind and that was winning. Winning a match that would be the main event of Hangover. Another reason for Tani to step her game up. There was no doubt that Tani had talent, but people were questioning how far Tani could take it. Some said she wouldn't be able to beat Jade and others questioned that. Tani knew she could do it though, she could take what was thrown at her no matter how "hard" that seemed to be. Tani just saw this as a slight challenge, and she would prevail. She wasn't going to let it go until she did either. Whether it be this night that she won, or if it was the next week Tani was going to be as persistant as she could with this, because it mattered to her. She couldn't really show that though because Tani was the tough girl in a sense, no soft side belonged to her, and quite frankly she didn't care that much. Tani was just seen as the arrogant one the one that always thought she was the best no matter what and to an extent she was exactly that. Tani was also human though, someone that wanted to get herself further in the business and all she needed was that little boost as if winning the Bytch title wasn't enough. People would never say she deserved it though until she beat the whole women's roster. It wasn't enough for anyone that she had retained her title against White Trash, she didn't like people questioning her talent, the talent that she knew she had and the talent that trumphed over other people's talent. She would go into this full force and she wouldn't leave until she finished the job that she would begin tonight.

Tani primped up her hair as she looked into a little compact sitting behind a huge news table. Tani then smiled at herself happy with how she looked. She blew a kiss to the mirror and then put it away underneath the large table. She looked into the camera that sat in front of her narrowing her eyes. The camera guy then started his countdown pointing at Tani as her reached one. The lights flashed on much brighter as the camera started rolling and Tani had pasted a smile on her face.

"Good evening folks, and welcome to BUD news at 5. Tonight we have an amazing story, the story of Tani Lyons and how she prevailed over Jade. Now most of you folks are sitting there and saying..but that hasn't happened just yet. Well you're right it hasn't happened yet, but here at BUD we like to keep on top of the future things too. This match would be of epic proportions and would allow the fans and superstars of BUD to see that Tani Lyons was much more than they thought she was. It was true, Tani Lyons had gotten her start beating an easy Summer Stratus. This then led Tani to an upsetting loss against Dannica for the Bytch champion. Tani was very discouraged but never thought less of herself. You see because Tani had something that most didn't and that was passion. Not just any passion though, the type that gave you drive and the will to move on even after people doubt you. This was something that Tani had gained and something that she would leave BUD with. However somethings were just made for Tani, like the Bytch championship truly was. Tani was exactly like this title in many ways, she was a bytch..and she was golden. She was the golden girl, if you would, she was shining with talent and abilities that women could only dream about. Tani went in and out of wins and did her best every time she stepped into the ring. Tani worked her way up to get into the spotlight, when it was stolen from the beautiful female, not from someone who deserved it though, someone has actually stolen spotlight. No one could find the light anywhere! The name.."

The camera switch to allow Tani to do a quick and dramatic look towards the camera.

"Jade...just Jade. Simple and unoriginal, but really who cares? I do. Tell me, how this girl thinks she will get away with stealing? The truth, Tani was never given the chance to steal it back. It was obvious then that these cunts..or excuse me...well cunts...that were walking back into BUD were getting more than Tani had gotten and Tani surely could compete with the best of them. So Tani would try her hardest to get it back but the management refused to pay any attention to the people with real talent. People would go on to say that Tani wasn't getting spotlight because she wasn't good enough, but this just wasn't true. The only thing that was true was that Tani was getting ripped off and trampled over. This was not something that Tani liked though, in fact she hated it. It was surely not in her nature to allow people to do so and she was sick of it. So Tani would get her chance at one of these so called great women. Jade was the woman that had stolen and yet getting all the recognition that Tani deserved. Some disagreed with Tani though, thinking that she didn't have what it took to compete with this Jade character. However Tani saw it differently. She saw it as an opportunity the chance to get the recognition she deserved, however at the same time would she really get anything from this or would people call it a fluke? Let's go to Jen who's with Jade right now."

The screen pops over to Tani who is dressed in different clothes the clip obviously done earlier.

"Tell me, Jade, why do you think you can win against Tani."

The camera switched over to a dressed up Heather Edgeton, attempting to look like Jade.

"I'm gonna beat Tani because she sucks..and..and..I don't!

Tani nodded her head.

"Very inspirational words, miss...well Jade. Tell me, what makes you the best BUD bytch?"

"Cause I'm just the best, you know that Tani Lyons ain't nothin' I don't even know who she is cause I'm so much better than her. I mean Tani who? Tani who?"

"Jade's" voice was annoying and squeeky.

"Yes..well, how are you getting ready for your match and for another steal?"

"Ready? I don't need to get ready, I'm just so much better and that..and you know cause I have more than Tani, like this BUDvision title cause that means I'm better. right?"

"Sure.."

Tani nodded her head leaving the sarcastic tone in her voice.

"You don't believe me, just watch I'm gonna beat her ass..cause I get into the ring with men everyweek..MEN! Do you know how much better they are than women? Much better!"

"But you're a woman."

"So!?"

Tani shrugged her shoulders.

"I can compete with them cause I'm better."

"Okay...okay calm down. You don't have to repeat yourself."

"You're stupid if you think Tani can beat me!"

Tani giggled a little to herself.

"Okay, fine I'll give you your opinion, really you don't need to act that tough, I think people know what you've done so far, but I don't think that matters as much as the actual match at hand and that's where the talking will really come in. So why don't you just hush for a little bit. Back to you in the studio Tammy."

The cameras then come up on Tani again in the studio.

"Well that's just sick..now lets go to Kathy who's with Tani."

The camera cuts to another feed of Heather Edgeton in a pants suit sitting across from Tani.

"Miss Lyons, there were some words said by Jade, wish to comment?"

"She actually said words? Wow, It's hard to understand her with all those ughs and blahblahs. Well I suppose that's all I heard from her. I mean I'd really like to hear something else from someone once in awhile, but I guess you can't get everything you wish for in that sense can you? Either way, I have confidence that I will be able to get the job done tonight and give Jade a run for her money no matter what she seems to think about the matter."

Heather nodded her head.

"Yes, well how have you been preparing for this match?"

"Nothing special, I attempted to get into the gym yesterday, but I was stopped and then figured there wasn't much of a point, and I have seen Jade in the ring so I won't have to do anything special to keep up with her. No matter how special she thinks she is."

"Aren't you the one with the arrogant attitude?"

Tani laughed.

"I suppose you could say that I'm arrogant, but how I see it I'm just very aware of myself. I know my strengths and weaknesses and a lot of my strengths have to do with my moves in the ring, and very few of them are weaknesses. The only weakness I have is getting a little distracted what with all the bullshit that has been happening lately with all the immature and pathetic masked figures walking around attempting to make me lose. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that I'm not as arrogant as people take me for. Sure I have an ego but anyone that has done as well as I have will have one. I know, I've lost but that doesn't mean I'm not good, that just means that I'm getting further and learning every week."

"But haven't you lost the last couple of weeks?"

"Oh my dear, you shouldn't worry about those, cause you see this is where masked asshole comes it, they throw me off and take me out of matches and then those people think they really beat me and that's just silly. Cause you see I am going to make sure that the masked figure won't ruin this for me."

Tani nodded her head.

"Wait..how are you going to do that?"

"I don't know yet, but I'll do it."

"Well, good luck..back to you Tammy."

The camera cuts back to Tani sitting in the news studio.

"Thank you, now folks I will leave you with a few words. Words that will make you remember why Tani Lyons deserves that spotlight. You see Tani is a woman of great poise, she gives it everything every week even if she's sick. You will find very few people willing to try as hard as she does. Now as you know Tani is constantly pushed down the ladder, not because she isn't good but because people envy her and people's jealousy gets in the way of the real talent. People will get jealous of people that are taking things from them and when other women saw Tani stealing the spotlight they brought someone else in, this was only for a short time though, Jade wouldn't live much longer, for she would suffer at the hands of Tani Lyons, and Tani would once again triumph over the slutty and whorish bitches, those less than her and those that thought they could handle her. She would once again prove to be the best, and there would be no doubts in other's minds that she was just that, the best. This is Tammy for BUD news at five, stay tuned for the actual match to see that what I tell you is no lie."

Tani winks into the camera as the scene fades out.
