Out.of.Character.Comment; Here is my second, I tried to tie in both the playboy thing and the match, success? Maybe. Enjoy. •?/FONT>I'M JUST THAT GOOD Certainly by now people knew the name of Heather Mackenzie, and if they didn't they sure as hell would remember it when they saw her once again take the women's title from Addison Cole this sunday and Halloween Havoc. Heather had already expressed what this match would mean for the company let alone the women's division. It would be bigger than life and who better to win that then Heather Mackenzie? Not only would Heather have that accomplishment come Sunday but she also had another accomplishment set up for her, playboy. Sure it was a common trend among the divas of the WWE, but Heather wanted a piece of it too. It wasn't the first time Heather would appear in playboy, however it would be her first cover. She was more excited than ever, and what better way to promote your playboy cover than to become the women's champion. Sure there were going to be people out there that would start to doubt Heather simply because she was doing playboy, but in truth her wrestling ability would stay the same, if not get better. There would be claims that she was a disgrace to the women's division, simply because she posed, but that would just be shear bitterness. Heather made a career out of being naked before she was a wrestler, so how can people even begin to say that this is something out of her realm? She was just waiting to hear her opponents thoughts, no doubt Addison would milk it for all it was worth, but Heather didn't care. All Heather cared about was getting her name out there even more, even though she was already pretty out there. Heather was never about living small and flying under the radar. She was all about being the one that people come to watch, being the person that people can't stop talking about whether it be about how much they hate her or how damn good she is in the ring. To Heather it was all the same, because no matter what she was on people's minds. How often do people think about that pathetic mess Addison Cole? Maybe when they mention Lukas Riggs? Maybe when they mention Heather? To most now, Addison Cole was just an after thought. A washed up nothing now, there were bigger talents entering the company and Addison sure as hell couldn't keep up. Heather though, she would be able to do more than keep up. Which was just another reason why Heather was going to walk out of Halloween Havoc a two time women's champion. Everything had been set up perfectly. Heather had taken a seat in a lounge area of the Key Arena in Seattle. The reporters were gathered outside along with many photographers and fans. She had flown into Seattle a few days early in order to promote her Playboy cover and Halloween Havoc. Press conferences normally weren't her thing, in fact she absolutely hated them, but what better way to show off your magazine cover? A dark haired man stepped into Heather's view. "Miss Mackenzie, we're ready for you now." He nodded to her and she nodded back. She pressed down on the arm rests pushing herself up to her feet. She followed the man as he started to walk towards the outside, all that could be heard in the large empty arena were the dark blue Jimmy Choo's that Heather wore on her feet to match perfectly with her off the shoulder Betsy Johnson dress. The man pushed open the doors to the arena and the fans began to go crazy with cheers...unusual...Heather grinned as she looked out to the huge crowd that stood in front of the stage. Heather finally reached the stage and made her way front and center, JBL and Robert Roode sitting in the background. Heather reached the podium a grin still lingering on her face. The huge magazine cover stood next to her covered by a velvet blanket. She grabbed the mic that sat on the podium and brought it to her mouth. "Hello ladies and gentlemen, it is an absolutely honor to be here today to share with you my latest piece of work. Now I know this is all happening very fast and there wasn't a whole lot of hype for my cover, but I do believe that rumors have been circulating about it for quite sometime and really I wanted it to be a surprise for all my fans out there. So without further ado..." Heather smiled reaching up to the blanket and pulling it off to reveal a gorgeous cover. The crowd cheered. "Thank you very much." Heather smiled as she posed next to the cover snaps from photographers and fans going off like crazy. This happened for another minute or so and finally Heather walked back behind the podium placing the mic in its original position. "Alright, I'll take any questions about my cover or the upcoming WCW pay per view. If you have a question simply raise your hand and stand up, and speak loudly it's windy." A flow of small laughs flickered through the crowd as hands went up in the air. The dark haired man from earlier pointed towards one of the reporters. "Miss Mackenzie, Dave Eurick of Pro Wrestling Today. I just wanted to know, do you feel like this decision to do playboy will effect your chances of being an "honorable" women's champion to a lot of fans out there, if you do indeed win at Halloween Havo?" The man with red hair had a point, but Heather simply shook her head. "Well first of Dave, there is no IF when it comes to me beating Addison Cole and become the women's champion. There never has been and lets be honest, there never will be. As for your actual question, I don't think there should be any doubt of my ability to be an honorable women's champion simply because I did this. I can understand where a lot of fans are coming from, they are probably sick of seeing a WWE diva grace the covers of playboy every year, but those girls don't have the talent that I possess in the ring. Those girls are just doing it because they can't make any other success for themselves. When it comes to be doing wrestling and modeling I will always chose the sport over the glamour. I fight for what I want and I will win the championship this Sunday to show that this has in no way altered my focus or my ability." Heather nodded showing she was done and the red haired man sat down. A blonde woman then rose up. "Jane Teer from Women's Wrestling Unlimited. I was wondering will this match on Sunday be the topping to the feud that you and Addison Cole have been having over the past couple of months?" "It's possible, and I'll tell you why, Addison Cole is going to lose." Heather grinned as the fans began to cheer a few boos mixed in. "Addison and I have been going back and forth trying to one up each other every time and I would have to think that Addison is getting tired of getting beat by me, I mean it is in no way embarrassing to get beat by someone with my talent, but you know I think she's starting to realize that she will never be able to compare to my talent. See, I will NEVER like Addison Cole, because I refuse to associate myself with the generic stylings of such a washed up mess, so saying the feud will be over might not be true. What is true, is the fact that I will be done giving her attention that she doesn't deserve. See at Halloween Havoc I will be getting back MY championship and I will have a new number one contender, either Trash Stratus, or Logan "smelly" Crotcha. Both of which pose absolutely no threat to me what so ever, much like Addison. So to really answer your question, no it won't be over for good, but it will be a distant memory much like Addison Cole." Heather let out a smark giggle as the woman took her seat. A brown haired man then stood. "Travis Gee from Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Your match this sunday between you and Addison was deemed a ladder match. How does it feel to be apart of the first in WCW history and one of the very first in mainstream professional wrestling?" Heather couldn't help but smile. "I don't even really think I can begin to explain how it feels. I mean it is always the goal of true women wrestlers to be seen in the same light as the male wrestlers, and I think WCW has always done a decent job of that. This match for me is bigger than any other match, even bigger then the match where I won my first women's championship. This isn't just a milestone for myself, you know becoming a two time women's champion, but it's also a great milestone for mainstream women's wrestling. TNA had a ladder match between two amazing female wrestlers and there have been a few independent promotions as well, hell OVW had one in 2006, but to have it broadcasted everywhere for others to see that women can match up is going to be amazing. I just hope my opponent can keep up." Heather winked a grin sliding across her face as the brown haired man took a seat. Another brown haired man then stood. "Tyler Spater of ringfury.com. You a recently aligned with Ezra Starr and Ashton West along with of course Nick Slater. Do you believe you'll need those resources on Sunday?" Heather chuckled a little to herself. "Of course not, I will not NEED anything to help me win a match against Addison Cole. I have taken myself many places in this industry without the help of anyone. I will not say that sometimes I don't get help, but I will say that I don't always necessarily need it. Beating Addison Cole is a cake walk, nothing special, nothing hard. I will not need to use my resources, but I don't doubt that they have my back in a case where something goes wrong on my end." Heather kept it brief. The man took a seat as a black haired woman stood up. "Tara Denis, Pro Wrestling Torch. You claim to be the "Generic Bitch Killer", how did that form and how are you going to add it in to your match this sunday?" "The name of "Generic Bitch Killer" stemmed from my feud with Stephanie Starrett and has stuck with me. It's a concept to change the world or female wrestling and make people remember that it's not just about what you can say but what you can do. Now I realize that sometimes I step out of that line, like by doing playboy, but that does not change the fact that I am a completely different person from all ten act alikes in this federation." Heather cleared her throat for a second. "As for using it in my match against Addison, well we've already seen her get hit by my beautiful new move which I debuted on her when I won my first title. She is my main target to shut down really. She is just another generic bitch looking to be killed. I want to end Addison Cole's career in all honesty. I want her to realize that she can't handle the heat any longer and I want her to suffer. I am sick and tired of seeing women like her do well especially when they really aren't up to par. They prevail because they are all a-like, they are all doing the same thing so they all know how to handle others move-sets and such. See, the girls can't handle me because I don't just play around with bulldogs and clotheslines I do real moves and I make them look damn good. Being the "Generic Bitch Killer" was my calling from the start, and I will not stop it until every generic bitch is dead, and that includes Miss Cole." Heather grins as the woman takes a seat. The brown haired man from earlier then walked up to the podium whispering something into Heather's ear. She nodded and stepped out of his way. "Thank you Heather, and thank you ladies and gentlemen on behalf of World Championship Wrestling we would like to thank you for your time, and have a great day." The man nodded as claps filled the area. He stepped out of the way. "Yes, thank you very much for your time and questions, everyone needs to tune into Halloween Havoc this Sunday so you can watch me become a two time women's champion, because I'm just that good." Heather grins as she steps back from the podium waving out to everyone. They begin to clap once again. The brown haired man then escorts her off the stage as the scene fades. |
