Tegan Starr was obviously new to the business. She had never been in a promotion other than her training facility but she would surely not let that affect her debut match. In fact, if anything she was going to push herself even more because of that. It was part of who Tegan was to prove people wrong, she had been doing it all her life and things weren't going to change now. Carmen Valentine had made it apparent that she didn't like Tegan for one reason or another, and the truth was Tegan didn't care. It was just another part of life that Tegan had to live through. She never really considered herself all that pretty but in life a lot of girls got jealous of her and her looks and now adding on to that Carmen Valentine was obviously jealous of Tegan's abilities. Tegan had made it obvious in her very first promo that she wasn't willing to back down from anything and Carmen Valentine wouldn't be an exception. Carmen had cut a promo saying her piece, considerably the same bullshit she had said in her first promo when she was trying to show Tegan up. Tegan didn't take it to heart though, she never had to because she knew herself better, she wasn't an insecure little nothing that didn't understand the world. She was a tough person inside and out and no one as shallow as Carmen Valentine could change her mind about that. Tegan on Rampage would have her debut match and she was happy for it to be against Carmen who would be debuting as well, because this gave her the chance to prove something to Carmen and to immediately put her on the losing track. After all Tegan seemed simple and sweet on the outside but on the inside she had more to her, she was a smart girl that knew how to work around the business even though she is new to it. That would be something to talk about at a later date though, because the truth was Carmen didn't know the true Tegan, in fact no one really did. All they had seen so far was sugar and gumdrops, they hadn't seen the true meaning of "The Highlight". Soon enough though, they would, and they would bow down to the greatness that was going to be happening right in front of their eyes.

"Ez! I have to go!" Tegan's yell filled the house. She stood at the bottom of the stairs as she seemed annoyed. "Hey asshole I will leave without saying good-bye if you don't hurry your ass up!" Tegan rolled her eyes putting her large duffle bag on the floor. Finally footsteps could be heard coming down the steps.

"I thought you were supposed to be here for another day." Ezra made his way down the steps reaching the bottom where Tegan stood.

"No, the show is tomorrow I have to fly out today and get everything ready." Tegan let out a sigh. "I'm freaking out Ez. This is my first match in front of a big crowd, and I have no idea what my opponent is about in the ring besides bullshit claims and arrogance." Tegan slumped down in her own body pouting her bottom lip. Ezra chuckled to himself.

"Teg, you'll be fine. You know what you're doing in that ring. This is a great opportunity and trust me that girl, whoever she may be will not be able to show you up." Ezra nodded his head as a smile spread on Tegan's face. "Seriously Tegan you have grown a lot through your training, I mean even before you went you knew a lot..you know cause you had such an amazing cousin to start your training." Ezra winked at Tegan as she laughed.

"I know that I've improved from where I was a year ago, but what I want is to be great and I can't be great if I start off bad, I mean it would kill me. I know that it is all about gaining experience and that is something that I love about wrestling, the fact that I learn every time I get into the ring, but this is different. This match needs to come out in my favor because I can't give this chick the benefit of beating me." Tegan got a slight look of disgust on her face. "She just has this ora of confidence and there is no reason for it. You know though, tomorrow I'm going to show her something she's never seen before. I'm going to get out in that ring and I'm going to show her what real wrestling is. She thinks that she doesn't need to put any effort into this? Well you know what she's got something else coming to her because I'm more of a challenge than she could ever imagine." Tegan shook her head placing her hands on her hips.

"You know you're ranting about someone I have no clue about right?" Ezra looked at Tegan with an eyebrow raised and she couldn't help but laugh. "Okay, but seriously like I said, you are going to do fine. And don't go into a match looking for a win, I mean it's always good to get one but you should keep your head on your shoulders don't do anything stupid. You wanna keep the fans behind you right?" Tegan nodded her head.

"Yeah, but she just rubs me the wrong way, I just want to make her look like an idiot, even though she does a decent enough job of it herself." Tegan grinned at her comment. "But you better be watching so you can tell me what I can improve and what I kicked ass on." Tegan smiled and Ezra nodded his head. He stepped down another step and pulled Tegan into a hug rubbing her head in a brotherly fashion. She struggled a little and finally pushed him back as they laughed. "Hey kid, I'm grown up now! You can't do that stuff!" Tegan gave him another pouty look.

"First off, I'm two years older don't call me kid. Second off you are still my little sis so I do what I want. Oh and also I will be watching so go out there and do what you know how to..win." Tegan nodded in reply to Ezra's comment. He then smiled and patted her on the head. "Now go get em tiger! I'm just gonna hang out here and wait for the holidays to be over so I can go home." Ezra laughed to himself and Tegan joined in before leaning down to pick up her bag slinging it back over her shoulder. She then made her way out the door.
