I was looking at one of Jan's yummy recipes and had an idea that might help us raise some money for the class reunion, and a nest egg for ones to come: what about putting a cookbook together with receipes of people in the class? We used to do this in the Wives' Club as a fund raiser, and was a great success!! I can look into the legal aspects, but one thought that comes to mind would be to ask everyone to submit at least one of their favorite recipes, along with a fee for the publishing (which would include a small amount for the reunion fund) and they can be distributed at the reunion. We can have extras printed for those that didn't get into it on time. Jan, you're an inspiration! |

They do! I can pull the info out of one of my old ones and scan it in. Keep in mind it's about 16 or so years old! With today's technology, I'd bet we could do most of it ourselves and take it to a local printer to bind. If we can get several people to do the inputing and proof reading, the print and bind is easy! It would be a great way for people that live out a ways to contribute in a very constructive manner! |
