1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb Italian sausage
1 clove garlic, minced
3 tbsp minced fresh parsley
1 tbsp minced fresh basil
1 tsp salt
1 can tomatoes undrained 16 oz
2 cans tomato paste 6 oz
1 pkg lasagna 8 oz
1 cream stylye cottage cheese 16oz
2 eggs beaten
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 c parmesean chsses
1 lb sliced or shredded mozarella cheese
 
*cook ground beef and sausage in large skillet until browned and crumbled
*add garlic,1 tbsp parsley, basil, salt, tomatoes, paste, simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stir occasionally
*cook lasagna noodles, drain
*combine cottage cheese, eggs,pepper, 2 tbsp parsley, and parmesean cheese, mix well
*spread 1/2 c meat sauce in a greased 13x9 baking dish
*layer half each of noodles, cottage cheese mixture, mozarella cheese and meat sauce, repeat layers
*bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
*let stand for 10 minutes before serving
