This is just like finishing someone's sentence.
But here we will keep it to a word.
Just post the first three letters of a word and see what the next person comes up with.
No you don't have to guess the exact word but come up with a word starting with the those letters left for you.
Then you leave three more letters for the next person.
e.g.

remember
for
forever
and so on ....
