Hi Shandell. I'm here - watching that dang storm Gustav. I've still got property down in Louisiana near New Orleans to worry about. How did your place in Florida fare with the Fay? Ok I hope... Moonflower |

Did good from what I hear, I do know though the other house the older member of my family lives in, she is old and senile , but cute, anyway she was surrounded by all the water, waist deep down the street from her. Thanks for asking. |

here Shandell..keeping one eye on Hanna and running full tilt boogie down here too. Glad I topped off my tank 2 days ago. Wed. regular gas at cheapie station down the street was $3.75 gal. Today, it's $3.89. Of course, they're blaming Gustav. Funny...but seasons PRIOR to '04, there were no issues concerning fuel down here. They told everyone to fill tanks but that was in case the power went off. Pumps don't pump without power. It was NEVER an issue of outrageous prices OR no gas at all until hurricane season 2004. T |

Shandell - Glad to hear your house did ok and your relative too even though she had the water. I'm keeping my fingers crossed with Gustav. I've got an old family home right on the water near New Orleans. Not good..... Terri and Chief - yeah, any little thing happens and gas prices jump! Moonflower |
