John - Just wanted to let you know - if you need to get out of dodge for any hurricane - you're welcome at our place in Ala. or my place in La. (if La. winds up being safely to the west of the storm.... I know it's closer to you and it's on lockbox and the real estate lady can give you the code to the lockbox to get the key. I still have furniture there...food in cabinets and freezer, a generator, etc. Friends in area too.) Both places have fenced yards and inside area for Hardtack and any pooch. Do you still have our phone numbers? If not - let me know - I'll email them. Can email you directions for either house too. Rainman will be here in Tenn. until next Tues. but if you need to get in house in Ala. before then - we can give you phone number to get key there too! Please - get out if you need to! I'm sweating right now worrying about this stupid storm.... I don't wish it on anyone but I hope it stays away from the Northshore of Lake Ponchartrain! Gotta watch it closely though cause I may need friends to go do some damage control at the old family home down there....

the bad news is hanna is supposed to clip south florida and head north

for panhandle and alabama

Thanks John.... I'm sitting here in Tenn. freaking out right now. They are getting ready to evacuate the town where the old family home is... I've got a friend who's going to go do a few things at the house bringing stuff in and boarding up some french doors on the old place but that won't do a thing for the flooding that's expected. Damn!!! I hate these stupid storms! I hate cleaning up after them. I just feel numb all over.

You keep your eye on this Gustav and and the other one! You know as well as I do that they never really know what's going to happen until it gets in closer.

Once again - same goes - you need anything - let us know.

Moonflower - who's getting ready to say the hell with it all and get out the scotch!
