I haven't gardened in a few years. What I was thinking is using plastic pipe (10 inch) and potting soil. Then monitoring the water intake and adjusting the fertilizer as I go.

My place is just red clay and rock and it is going to take a while to actually manufacture a garden space.

I have run into hydrophonic grows indoors with cannabis but I was never impressed.

I thought maybe I would try and grow some tomatos with this set up.

Have you ever tried to make a garden when a garden shouldn't be? I am at a loss on how to actually "Produce" viable soil that will grow a pretty good garden.
