Hey hey hey, back from the bush!!! Had a good class this time, only one snake bite instead of the usual three or four the students usually end up with. One of the guys was bitten by a Fer-de-lance. Pretty poisonous little bastard too, they are hemotoxic and hemorrhagic. We had to medivac him out because he didn't tell anyone he was bit until like half an hour after it happened. They will probably half to cut a little bit out of his leg too. The Fer-de-lance's venom does massive tissue damage. That was on the first day too, so right after that happened I gave my speach on venomous snakes AGAIN! That is very first thing that I do every time, the snake speech, they just don't seem to listen though so this time I went and caught a Bushmaster that night and gave a little demo. Anyway, that was the only one that had to leave this time. Had a little problem with one fellow and the three ladies that were there, I had to kick his ass and told him he was going to get Ranger tied to a tree and left the next time he did it (and I meant it too). Had a little action, little insurgency, nothing major though. Didn't have to kill anyone to stay alive it wasn't that bad. Good lesson on hiding though which is what part of these classes are about anyway is avoiding detection.
Ok, will write more later, have to get going, there is a pretty little woman waiting on me to go get some grub. Oh yeah, there are five satelite photos I posted here, the first one I outlined the countries so you could tell where the picture is, the next couple show shots of Managua (the capitol and only city), you can see the farms and such, the very last one there is a red dot in the upper left part of the photo, that is where I was at. All the little white circle like things you see are water pools. Right in the middle of the rain forest, what you expect??
