good post I still prefer the heavier canvas duck...and 20 feet of marine rope...boat type stuff don,t rot dont break spent 22 days out  with it...steel traps water set and land set two of each...eat food in route berries etc garb grass to dry at fire for toilet paper next day very small fire one item at time at a time size.less wood use less foot print left behind. Potatoe and onion in back pack if no luck on fresh food..slice of each, great meal no cooking and good for you.
