| THERE'S ALWAYS ONE... If you're down and don't know why,
Seems the world is spinning by,
When you've had your share of pain,
Sunny days just feel like rain.
When emptiness is deep inside,
You tell yourself you've really tried,
When heartaches seem too much to bear,
Ever feel like no one cares?
When hurt and grief won't go away,
There is someone that will stay,
His love for you cost Him His life,
He gave it freely for your strife.
He paid the price for your redemption,
A price too high for an exemption,
He will not leave you or forsake you,
His Holy Spirit will remake you.
He cares for you and calls your name,
to fill your heart and set aflame,
He'll light your world and lead you on,
And give you hope to count upon.
He'll hear your prayers and be your friend,
The joy in Him, there is no end,
The promises He made to you,
Will change your life and make it true.
He won't abuse or call a name,
And tell you that you are to blame,
He wont walk out, leave you alone,
Because your heart is His new home.
He won't leave you in the night,
When you're scared and full of fright,
He won't tempt you with those pills,
His Spirit comes and it fulfills.
He won't make fun at your expense,
His plan for you is recompense,
He won't take your life away,
And all He asks is that you pray.
He waits for you to let him in,
He wants to be your closest friend,
He longs for you to call His name,
And your life won't be the same.
He wants to come and give you hope,
He is there to help you cope,
He says to cast your cares on Him,
The Holy Spirit, He will send.
We've all searched for the way,
But look to man most every day,
When we feel that no one needs us,
There's always one, His name is Jesus.
