Everlasting Story
The shepherds were in the field that night
when the angel of the Lord did appear
With news that Christ the Lord
had been born in Bethlehem of Judea.
Three wise men travelling from afar came
seeking to worship Him
They traveled far, following the star to
the town of Bethlehem.
They found Him in a stable in a lowly
manger bed
They presented gifts and worshipped Him
when the sheep and oxen fed.
The night that Christ was born
there was rejoicing in heaven and earth
The angels sung and their praises rang
at the news of the Virgin birth.
Glory to God in the Highest for Christ
His perfect gift
For sending Him who knew no sin
to bring salvation, peace, joy to men.
