Nailed scared hands, that bled for me,
Some say they will be scarred eternally.
A master plan where fallen man
condemned to die, can live again.
A purchased made by Royalty
A debt was owed by you and me.
Perfect blood, redemption's price
God's only Son the sacrifice.
The second Adam, dying for the first
Living water from the one who thirst.
The Holy One, the Paraclete
The sacrifice, the mercy seat.
A cornerstone, a stumbling block
Two thousand years of aftershock.
The choice was His, to drink the cup
coming down to be lifted up.
A gift or wages, you decide, who was really crucified?
The Son of God or just a man, coincidence or master plan?
Roman justice for an unfortunate Jew?
Paid in full or balance due.
