Leaves In Four Seasons
Spring sings and creation rings
As leaves spring forth anew
They wave and love in the gentle breeze
But little living they do.
For summer a bummer, a blazing hummer
Soon start the leaves to gold
And leaves from their sapless seige
Droop, wither and fold.
Then fall calls with a chilly, squall
And leaves fall and wander
For with her chilly breath she puffs
Scattering them asunder.
And winter weary, dark and dreary
Will stick them in the clay
And cover them with her frozen fury
Where soon they will decay.
