He Brought Me Up

I was in the bottom of the pit
Buried beneath a load of sin and shame
My life was so miserable
Dark and gloomy all around

 

I cried help !
But didn't know what to do
To live or die ?
It didn't matter much to me

 

Then I met the Savior
He bid me "come and dine"
He gave me the "Living Water"
Now He's with me all the time

 

Now my Savior
He didn't just save me
He keeps me every day
For I belong to Him
The price He did pay

 

So, if you're on the bottom
I tell you what to do
Call on the Savior
He's been waiting for you

 

He'll give you this "Living Water"
You'll never thirst again
He'll bring you up from the bottom
And make you whole for Him
