Yes we did engraved his hands. I'm sorry to say though that sometimes we still cause those marks to bleed and give pain to those beautiful hands ,( the hands that guide us still when we stray and bring us back to the right way) I want to cry every time I think of the pain my mistakes and sins have caused him to suffer.
I look forward to the day when I can stand with him to see him face to face and say I'm sorry for what I've done, and kiss those hands so scarred from sin. I am thankful that he was so willing to do that for me, that he loved me so much to give his life for my stubborn ways and sinful life.
I only hope that I can show others a hint of how much Jesus loves us , because of who we are, we are his children. I hope that each one of us can reach out and touch one other life to help it heal or grow in him.
