This is a sweet message about sisters.  It's true it's not always about family ties that bonds people together as if they were related to each other.

I never had this type of relationship with my own sister, she didnt want anything to do with me, when we were growing. Now things are changing between us, I say it's God's answer to my prayers. 

I do however have a few very close friends up here that have become like family to me, and as close to sisters as they could ever be.  They are gifts from God, to help smooth over the roughest times of life.
