The Grand Consultant


    But I do nothing without consulting the Father. I judge as I
    am told. And my judgment is absolutely just, because it is
    according to the will of God who sent me; it is not merely my

KEY THOUGHT:
When businesses or key business leaders get in a bind or try to decide
about strategic opportunities, they hire a consultant. The use a
consultant to help them sort through the issues, avoid making careless
mistakes, and make the best decisions. Jesus consistently used this
same strategy in his ministry. However, Jesus only used one consultant,
the Grand Consultant, his Father. Incredibly, Jesus taught us to use
this same Consultant as well. So as you face tough decisions or
questions about what you need to do, why not follow the example of your
Savior? Spend time consistently with the Grand Consultant!


TODAY'S PRAYER:
Father, the all-wise and all-knowing Creator, please give me wisdom. I
face decisions and I need your help. I have opportunities placed before
me and I need your guidance. I have blindspots in my perception and
need your truth. Help me know the way I am to go and the things I need
to do to live victoriously and to fully honor you. In Jesus' name I
pray. Amen.

Who gives me wisdom and light to cherish and savor

I do nothing without conversations
With my Consultant, my Savior
Who I love, trust and favor

I do nothing without talking
Over my life's strategic plans
With my Consultant, my Heavenly Father
It is He that I go to for problem-solving and decision-making
It is He that I always confide in or bother

I do nothing without dialogue
With my Consultant, The Almighty
Whom I spend time with consistently
To live my life victoriously
