Failures | 'Tis better to have tried in vain, Sincerely striving for a goal, Than to have lived upon the plain An idle and a timid soul. 'Tis better to have fought and spent Your courage, missing all applause, Than to have lived in smug content And never ventured for a cause. For he who tries and fails may be The founder of a better day; Though never his the victory, From him shall others learn the way.

Great Loretta. I used to wonder if anyone else ever bothered God as much as I did. It seemed I was always in a fix over something. I couldn't begin to tell you the times I stumbled and fell. I messed up so many times I began to doubt my salvation. But, I know now that God is always quick to forgive us, pick us up, dust us off, and send us on our way. I'm so thankful we serve a forgiving God. GBU, Flower |
