+Living Life God's Way+ 2/24/2003 http://livinglifegodsway.com There is not in the world a kind of life more sweet and delightful than of a continual conversation with God. Brother Lawrence _____________________ Walking With God ".....look carefully then how you walk!" Ephesians 5:15 How long are you going to keep wandering in the wilderness, delaying your growth, avoiding your calling, denying who you really are, and focusing on lesser things? This is not who you are, or what you're supposed to be! Your mandate is to be light, expelling the darkness and bringing solutions wherever you go. But to do that, you've got to walk God's way, not your own. Here are some things about walking with God you need to think about today. It's a responsible walk. You're supposed to bring honor to the One who saved you, by staying on the path He's designated for you; to demonstrate His character and compassion to all you meet. Are you doing that? It's a Spirit empowered walk. You must continuously rely on God's ability, and not your own, in order to succeed. If by nature you're self sufficient, you'll have to work on this each day. It's a Word directed walk. It's not based on your ideas or perceptions, but on the very mind and heart of God, which He's revealed to you in His Word. It's a relational walk. You're not walking alone, you're walking hand in hand with Jesus, and in unity with your brothers and sisters in God's family. That's what gives us the collective power to reach and transform this world. The truth is, your walk can bring results and rewards which reach far beyond your own little sphere of influence - in this life, and in the one to come.
