This past week has been such a blessing on my life! I have been working with about 20 5th-7th graders in a sort'a hyped up VBS and man was God awesome through it! The camp's theme was The Fruits of the Spirit and each day the children (all the children in all the groups. there were about 6 groups in all and a total of 100 children by the last day *God is so cool!*) were given a Bible verse to memorize that was about the fruit they were learning that day. Well man guess what God did! 16 out'a 19 children memorized all 5 verses by friday!!! Man, i, the other two junior counselors, and the head counselor (these are the leaders of the groups) were so proud and impressed and praising God! And all throughout the week, within all the many many different activities that were occuring, each child was constantly applying the Fruits to their interacting with eachother and counselors. God is amazing. He used a handful of His people to be with these kids and lead them further toward Him. And then He turned it all around and with using 100 children, taught a handful of counselors patience, peace, kindness, joy, and most important, love, all over in a more meaningful personal way. I just want to say thankyou Holy Father for what you have shown me this week. The blessings bestowed upon my life from this experience, i already feel. You're amazing love, how can it be, that you my king would die for me. Amazing love, i know its true and its my joy to honor you, in all i do. Thankyou Father, i love you, adore you, praise you and bless you forever in the days of this life, in your Son's precious Holy name i pray, Amen! |
