Life Continues On
Did you wake up this morning
and wonder how to face
htw new day before you
'cause your lonely heart ached
ached for your loved one
who was called away
leaving you behind
where clouds fill your days.
Does it seem there is no one
who truly understands
the loss you are feeling
and your unfulfilled plans?
Though it seems there's no reason
life should take such a turn
you can be enriched
through the lessons you learn.
I've learned life continues
when we're faced with grief
and it helps to remember
your loved one at peace.
Peace with the Savior
in whom was their trust
and they would not want you
caught up in the loss.
Rather they'd want you
to live life to the fullest
so look through the clouds
where the sun shines at will.
Give thanxs for the blessings
that your lives have shared
and ask God to help you
each new day in prayer.
