Trusting God
Walking down through this life is not always a bed of roses, sometimes it looks more like the land of sinking sands.. It seems that during our darkest times, we forget the simplest way to overcome our trails and temptations.
There are a few things to remember if you are walking through the sinking sand.
1. God is a God of justice. HE will make it right. Don't take justice into your own hands. Let God take care of it..
2. Live the crucified life, realize that even the very best person (Jesus) was condemned and crucified. The world tries to trip you up, making you think there is something wrong with you or your beliefs.
3. Live the ressurection life. Remember that Christ was crucified and at that moment even his followers didnt realize that he would only be gone a short time. Had they trusted God and walked in the truth of his return, they would have been in such despair.
4. Get over the abuse or the trial or the temptation. Don't make everyone around you suffer for what you haven't dealt with. Life is not always fair and more times than none, things have a way of not going right.
5. Bless those who persecute you. Sometimes that isn't easy to do either. But, you know, if we are faithful in maintaining our integrity and our faith walk, those who persecute you will see that first and maybe someday your faithfulness will be the example they need to walk with Jesus in Salvation.
6.Rebuke satan and his demons. The devil wants to steal your peace, your joy, your hope, your need for Jesus: DONT LET HIM DO THAT. HE has no power when you are a child of the King Jesus.
7.Reach out and help. You are not alone. There are others out there struggling with the same experience you are going through and on the internet we have the ability to seek out those who could use a little of your gift of wisdom and discernment.
8. Walk in obedience. As you walk through the crisis, living in prayer and in your quest for righteous living, you will see the troubles seem a little farther away, a little less overwhelming and God's joy will find its way back into your heart.
9.Jesus is faithful to help His people. Wait it out. There is usually always a silver lining somewhere behind the dark cloud.
