Valley of Troubles

A valley of troubles, darkness and dread.
False prophets,false teachers, a way that is dead.

The moth and the lion, destruction and pain.
Crops yield nothing, clouds without rain.

Murder and mayhem, thievery and lies,
footprints of blood, hearts that despise.

Idols of nothing, worthless beliefs
mingled with evil, spiritual thieves.

Seeking not heaven, seeds sown in the wind.
Harvests of sorrow, raised up in sin.

His face turns away. Now lost in the night,
in a valley of troubles, we must see the Light.
