MY OWN ( God's way)
They said it would never happen.
They kept saying it again and again.
Saying life would prove too stressful,
I'd never graduate school.
Of all of us kids I'm the only one.
I did it and had a lot of fun.
I'd always live in my parents' home,
and never have one of my own.
They said that no one would want me.
I said I'll wait and see.
If it is in God's plan.
I will have a husband.
They said I wouldn't have children,
God proved them wrong again.
I was told that I'd never drive.
I learned how, but won't, walking keeps me alive.
Though I've never lived alone.
I have a family and home of my own.

"Nothing is impossible when handed over to God.
He doesnt allow mans opinions to stop
the plans he has for for anyone.
Your life has purpose and the people we meet
to sit and rest and find comfort at Jesus feet.
He will welcome at that come.
This poem is still a work in progress. The last bit of it is just an explanation of the main theme, I'm not sure I'll put it in.
I'm still working on the last paragraph.
