To the world
To the world I'm a nobody
but to God I'm a somebody
To the world I'm nothing
But to God I'm everything.
The world says I'll never succeed
But God says just wait and see.
Though the world put me in the dark
God's light brightens my heart.
When the world throws stones at me
God's arms wrap around me completely
Each attempt of stopping me always fails
because God's love always prevails.
I do not need to run and hide
Because I have God on my side
