I read of a boy who dreamt what heaven is like He suddenly arrived without a very long hike And there in his sight in a room filled by light Was a card filing system in cabinets all bright
He stepped up to see the titles on the door front Which were records of his life like calling his brother a runt A record of the lies to others he had told And the time he stole some family gold
There were cards for everything he had ever done Right there in his hand it said he had eaten the last bun And all the time he had spent watching T.V. While rejecting the baby a ride on his knee
But what made him feel sad was the few times he had shared The good news of Jesus and His salvation prepared And there as he stood dejected and dismayed Jesus came and washed all his tears away
He opened each file and signed His own name In blood red He covered confessions of shame And with an arm on his shoulder He led him away To a mansion prepared for his eternal stay
