ON PROVERBS 1
A wise man listens and learns more still,
Though sometimes he must submit his will,
To those who have been there before,
And share their experience and the law.
Wisdom is not found all in books,
Nor is it hidden in crevices or nooks,
But it is in reverence and love for God,
That which is despised by the foolish clod.
Love the teachings of mum and dad,
For they give to you the experience that they have had,
Do not be tempted by men of evil,
Nor from work for your hands must you shrivel.
Wisdom calls from many places,
And he who hears him makes home bases,
But he who ignores our risen Lord,
Will be destroyed by that two edged sword.
