David and Goliath
Or
Jesus and the Devil

Now Goliath was the guru of the Philistine band
Who boasted he was the best in all of the land
But he was just a puppet of satanical things
And the devil was the one that pulled on his strings

He ranted and raved and all attention craved
Not interested in his enemies being saved
And all he ever wanted was to maim or to kill
As he obeyed the call of his master’s will

The soldiers of Saul did shiver and shake
At the great shadow that Goliath did make
Thinking this demon too devilish to take
They hid in the crevices the rocks did make

Young David came up to visit the line
To check for father his sons were fine
When he heard Goliath roaring his stuff
David claimed the madman was just full of puff.

He went out to meet him just a slingshot in hand
But he was aware of one guiding his hand
For David was the forerunner of the great king to come
And it was to His tune he listened and he marched to His drum

David fired a shot �?the stone guided by God
And straightway the giant lay down on the sod
Where our devil defeater cut off his head
To show to us all that through Jesus the devil is dead.

I just got back last nite and this has been taking a long time to answer posties..msn is causing havoc again...

and being here while I was away..truly appreciate your help and messages.
