Morning Junebug! The streets were so slick in spots they had to shut down the freeway and wait for a salt truck to get there. Traffic was sure backed up. Then when I got to work the big awning over the door is shredded and down on the ground. Too bad mine at home didn't do that I need a new one  |

Is it Monday ?? I will be so confused about the days of the week until the holidays are over. I am just going to try and get some cleaning done myself. I told my mother in law that I would bring the carpet cleaner over and do her living room but they have one more funeral today and a visitation tonight that funeral tomorrow. I don't know if I can move that sofa and loveseat by myself.  So Wendy, all of that rain turned to ice huh. Be very careful on the roads. |

Mornin' y'all.... At the office today for a bit - there's a pile of checks that need signing, so I have to get those out of the way before year-end, so here I am. But - I have to chuckle reading about y'all's weather, since we're all complaining that our air conditioning is malfunctioning, and it's hotter than Hades in the office - I have a feeling we will all be leaving early today. |

good morning everyone! here's a link to an article i found about a power outage in michigan... compared to that, our weather is lovely.... it's 41 degrees right now. this is shaping up to be a really slow week so i will probably close out all the files and get them ready for storage (and maybe prepare new files for 2009) while joe trenches alongside the house to pipe out power to the shed. i asked him to include a weatherproof receptacle on the outside of the shed so i can plug sassy's heated mat into it for the nights it gets really cold. the mat turns off and on based on whether the dog is on it and how cold it is. |

It's been 80 or so for the last several days; I've had my air on at home all last week. It's supposed to stay in the low to mid 70's the rest of this week.... |

Morning Kelly! I passed through an area on my way in that had no electricity. Some people might not get theirs back on until New Years Day. Mid to low 70's is perfect weather Rusty. |
