yes. the warranty usually comes from a third party, and i imagine all the parts could also come from a third party as well. in fact, it might help the economy by creating more jobs in the 3rd party market for auto parts...

 

as far as i am concerned, all a chapter 11 means is a reorganization which means they have to come up with a plan to recover ... granted, that doesn't always happen, but i believe with auto manufacturers, they would have the ability to bring in someone to clean house for them.
