The changing leaves have been beautiful here in east Tenn. for the past few weeks.  Thought you all might like to see a little Autumn "eye candy" too.

Doesn't He though? Stuff like this I call God's artwork. Like the ever changing colors in the Crand Canyon. Breathtaking!

Terri,

The Grand Canyon....I'd love to take the mule ride to the
bottom.  We've thought about it but never seem to get it
accomplished.  One year we were driving to CA. to
spend Christmas with my brother and decided to stop at
the Grand Canyon.  We were at the trail head and our
luck a group was on their way down.  Well one woman
was scared to death, the tour guide kept telling her "don't
look down."...you know those mules walk right on the edge.
It was scarey to watch, I can only imagine what it was like
to be on its back!  I've often wondered if she made it all the way
down and then back up.  She may be homesteading on the
floor of the canyon!!  LOL LOL  Maybe we could get a
group rate and all of us make the trip!!

Eeks! That one scared to death woman could have been me! LOL!  When I was out there back in '96 I opted for the helicopter 'flyover' rather than the mules. Yes, I've heard the stories too, about them crashing but I felt safer...especially with two sisters (Nuns) on board!  I was able to get some really nice panoramic shots from up there. I never saw anything so gorgeous in my life.

When I got back from the trip; went back to work, I was telling the ladies at work about it. They were having fits; saying to me 'what if the helicopter crashed??' I told them......'well if the helicopter had crashed, I coudn't think of a more beautiful place to rendevous with my Maker.'  They just stood there and stared at me...LOL
