Things i am thankful for: wonderful friends at Wiz's place, a functioning kidney, family to love, provisions of food, house, car, gas, ability to say thank you, say Im sorry when Im wrong, ability to attend a house of Worship freely, without fear of intimidation by the Gov't. I could go on and on, but, you get the idea. Also, to vote, even if it didn't work out. LOL. Mega

I also give thanks for those here. Not counting my kids you all are also my family.
I am ever so thankful my son's ship rolled into San Diego yesterday. Finally home after another tour in the desert.

Yes yes yes.

Have not seen him yet I am up in the Northern part of the State, but knowing he is home is wonderful for Thanksgiving.

Anyone know this guy??

I wish each of you a blessed Thanksgiving.  Below are two links for Thanksgiving.  One is military, the other is a Jacquie Larson card (just love her work!).  God bless you.  Betty

Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving everyone. Betty, I love both of those videos...The first one brings tears and the second one smiles.  Thank you and have a wonderful holiday.
Love,
Lana

OK, so I am a thick headed guy, stuck in my ways. Well, it doesn't (always) take Hesaketvmese dropping an asteroid on me to get my attention. Most of my life, I have never claimed Thanksgiving Day as a personal holiday. Usually said it was celebrating the Pilgrims killing of the natives around Plymouth Rock. It worked for most of my life, but it struck me that as miserable as my life has been and pretty much is so now, I do have a lot to be greatful for.
To hell with a bunch of pilgrims and turkey and pumpkin pie. I have my furbies whom you all know I love to death! I lived through two wars and at least some of my marriages were blessed. I have a roof over our heads, even if Miss Kittie loves to play in the rain! (silly cat)
Although I have only met a few of you in person, I consider you friends and  in a way, family.
Yep, gots it pretty good for a rotten old fart! x5+1

It's the time of year when we're reminded to give thanks.
Instead of waiting until next year to be reminded,
Let's make every day one of thanksgiving;
After all, each day is a unique gift.
So, give a hug for no reason;
Say I love you, just because;
Share a smile with a stranger;
Take the time to count your blessings;
Don't take anything or anyone for granted;
And end each day with no regrets.
Thank you, my friends and family,
For sharing, caring, laughing and crying with me.
I'm truly blessed to have each and every one of you in my life
And I am thankful you have allowed me
To be a part of yours.
May you and yours have a safe and memorable Thanksgiving.

SR & Snugspider
