Siarrah's English paper
UN NAMED

He walks in the dead of the night, hoping that no one sees him.  In the
day he hopes that he can make it to the night.  He actuates me to have
courage, and most of all to have strength.  He wakes up every morning to
fight for us, he is my paragon, someone to look up to.  He sees danger
and fear that we can't even dream of.  He fights for us people that he
doesn't even know.  He also fights for America and our RIGHT to BE
AMERICANS.  Back home his family is disgruntled to the fact that they may
never see him again.  His wife cries daily, even though she knows that it
its for the best.
He fights for our beliefs and to love our country.  My hero has infinite
wisdom.  Courage that takes a life time to dream of.  He has experienced
nightmares that will shock you.  He holds his gun proudly and knows that
he is doing the right thing.  Some people say that they have experienced
the worst but will never know what it its like to wake up every morning
in a place that might be your death.  He is a person of no limitations a
person of no fear.  I may never know him in person but that doesn't
matter.  What matters is that he fights for us.   He sees terror and
death everyday of his life.  That takes a lot of devotion.
My hero is a U.S. soldier.  Someone who has devoted their life for us.
He stands as my hero now, and forever.

Siarrah Chambers

My daughter wrote this paper for her English class and I felt so moved that I wanted others to share in her work.  I sent a copy of it to the Grand Rapids Press and they printed it, there was a lot of replies to her article, there were so many who were as moved as I was.  One vet got ahold of me to speak with Siarrah about her paper and couldn't speak clearly because he was trying to fight back the tears.  I am so proud of my daughter and I hope her paper goes around the world for all to see.  God Bless America!  I love you Siarrah!!!

Hello,

When Siarrah origanally wrote this she couldn't think of a title for it, before it was submitted to the GR Press she titled it AMERICAN HERO.
Siarrah is twelve years old and is in middle school, needless to say she did get an A on this paper and there are many who are proud of her!
I am so  happy to see that it is on the Internet for all to read and we hope and pray that it will touch many hearts.
Siarrah is a very intelligent young lady which I knew but when she wrote this paper I became so emotional and overwhelmed that she could write such a profound article that I just knew it had to be shared with the rest of the world.
Thank you to whomever posted her article.
