Part 2..Adding Glitter Bars
Okay now that you have the basics of HTML down we are
going to add glitter bars.
We will start with your basic HTML...
1.

Put your cursor in the center and middle align..
Always make sure your cursor is in the center when
adding glitter bars.
2.

Like so...
3.

After clicking on center align... click on your table icon.
4.

Now here we are going to change the setting..
Rows And Columns....1 and 1
5.

Padding and Spacing...0 and 0
6.

Now this time we are going to change borders also...
Change the border # to 0
and don't worry about the color it doesn't matter here.
7.

and the background color again change to white
for your convience when placing tiles...
8.

Now click on Insert Table and this is what
you should have now...
9.

Now we are ready to edit the HTML...
Click the little box at the bottom where it says
Use HTML to create your page.
It will bring the HTML codes in to your message.
Like this....
Now here make sure you put your width after the cell padding.
Start with a width somewhere between 99% and 95%.
This decides how far away from the background sides
your glitter bars will be. I chose 97% for mine here.
After you are comfortable with the codes play around
moving them and see where it ends up.
Again make sure you take out the
This is very important to keep your tables even...
10.

Now take the check out of the little box and repeat steps 2 to10
11.

This time we will change the % for the width to 99% or 98%.
This determines the width of your glitter bar.
If you want really skinny glitter bars use 99%
If you want wider glitter bars use 98% here.
I used 98% and here is what mine looks like now..
This is what yours should look like.
12.

Now repeat steps 2 through 11 for your second glitter bar again going back to
99% to 95% for the first one and this is what you should look like at this point...
13.

Once again repeat all the steps for the glitter bar
and you should come out looking like this..
14.

Once again repeat all the steps for the glitter bar
and you should come out looking like this..
15.

Your final step is knowing where to add your credits...
Always when adding your credit with glitter bars..
It should be down against the last dark black line like this..
and you are finished.
Keep in mind that you should always have an even number
of layers for glitter bars..
i.e...2 or 4 or 6 to make 1 or 2 or 3 glitter bars.
This one has 2 glitter bars so it needed 4 layers for glitter.
Do not panic when you can't see the glitter bars..
They are invisible right now...
Good Luck.. and show me your results.
