~~ I Listened ~~
As she spoke I listened,
That's all that I could do,
I could feel the heartache,
That she was going through,
She wondered why God allows,
Heart aches pain and strife,
They seem to overwhelm us,
As we journey through this life,
As I listened I could hear,
Her softly cry,
I felt so very helpless,
As I too wondered why,
God you know about her heartache,
You know just what to do,
So I'll just do the listening,
And leave the rest to you.
