Just in case any of you feel lost when you come over to the new home, Kivas Krew, and you are not quite sure what thread to click on to find a stream of current conversation, I thought I would start a thread in honor of what centered us in the first place, Kiva of course, and then our AGE. The over 35er's!!!

Diane:  I don't recall any mention of dates other than what you said.  However, ABBA was popular in the 80s and these were all ABBA songs if that helps any.  I just assumed the daughter was the product of flower children.

I'm here til it closes :).

When I called Mom the doc came in the room and we left the phone off the hook while she saw her and then the doc briefly got on with me.  She said Mom is doing MUCH better.  Mom said the caridologist said the cause of the heart problem was the bronchitis!!!!!  Now that's a bit scary.  Thank heaven I took her to the hospital!  She's now well enough that the doc has given orders to the nurse to give Mom "hall walks" to get some strength back.  Tomorrow is the stress test and the doc says if all is well she could go home "soon".  IF things go the way I'm hoping, I think I'll have her come here for a week or so and go about my moving business and then find a place for her when I'm settled.  But if the doc really feels she's well enuf to go home, I'll let her and see if maybe we can get a little extra help for the first week.  The bronchitis is gone, so if that was really the only cause maybe we're jumping ahead of ourselves about moving in together.  I really want her in assisted living, but she's fighting it.  There are still other alternatives to consider.  I just wish I knew where the living arrangements stood cause that is truly making me nutso!

I spent a lot of time on the phone with friends today and even did a little work.  I must say that Robal's book is pure therapy - it was the most relaxed I've been in days!  Unfortunately I only did an hour so far but that hour I thought of nothing else.  I might even do another hour or so tonight if I don't get involved in anything.  And I packed a whole one more carton LOL!

Ta ta.  If I'm up to it, I'll post after I come home from the hospital tomorrow.
