That's the movies for you, amychicago......I do believe it was filmed in Toronto.  I have not yet seen the movie, if you can believe it, because they first put it out in limited release in the States, then released it to more theatres in the US.    It's taken awhile to get here in Winnipeg, Canada, which I find extremely ironic. 

They also had a live theatre production run here, before there was ever a thought that it would become a movie.  Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to see it.

We have a few beautiful Greek churches here in Winnipeg but I can't tell you which one the actual marriage took place in.  I'll do some research on that aspect and in the meantime, I can actually now go to a movie, in Winnipeg, which is based on a woman, from Winnipeg
