Now I know why so many of us still have trouble with those particular words.  I always wondered about that, seriously!   Lay or lie.

Gosh,  between the various threads,  you guys continually pique my curiosity.  I'm going to have to start making a list of all the things I've decided to research. 

                    English:  I think I am laying in the pavement and, afterwards, I think I will need to lie down.   LOL
