Liloleme - I understand where you are coming from too. My X was running around with another woman too...someone who I thought was one of my best friends...someone who I had confided in. She was married too and according to everyone in our small community this wasn't her first conquest. Fortunately, my X married someone else and she has a good relationship with my kids and me. I can't imagine how awful it would have been if he had married the woman he was having an affair with.
