Thought I would resurrect this thread to tell you about something that happened to me.  I was reminded of it this weekend when a coworker felt the need to tell it to a new employee.  I guess she thought it was her duty to prevent the new employee from "pulling an Ozzie".
Our supervisor announced that he wanted to have a meeting at 12:30.  We tried to get everyone to lunch early so we would all be back in time.  Since we only get a half hour for lunch, the last people were going at 12:00.  I wasn't quite ready yet.  My friend, Spud, kept bugging me "Ozzie, you gotta get going, you're gonna be late!"   I told her it would take less time for me to finish what I was working on than to try to explain it to someone else to finish.  She was really persistent and every couple of minutes would say "Ozzie,Ozzie, you better hurry up" or something similar, always being overly dramatic.  I finally finished what I was doing and I thought I would answer her being equally dramatic.  We wear lab coats that have snaps down the front and are very easy to tear open.  I shouted "O.K.! I'M GOING!!!" as I tore my lab coat off with a flourish.  Unfortunately, the uniform top I was wearing also had snaps down the front and my hands caught both layers of fabric.  I ended up flashing everyone in the room.  A male coworker was sitting a few feet away;  his jaw dropped.  I realized what had happened and tried to put myself together again but we all started laughing so hard, it took several minutes before I could compose myself and get snapped up again.
Since then, I always check what type of top I'm wearing before I tear my coat off.
