my grandmother used to say cat can look at the queen if anyone asked her what she was staring at.i say it to my hubby when hes in a snippy mood,he:what are you looking at?she:hey cat can look at the queen.i dont know if its because it makes no sence or the reference to a queen but it shuts him up every time.
